Why people hate Asmongold?

I hink he is a great streamer so I don't understand why people hate him? Please tell me

He's a bit rough around the edges. He can be elitist, strongly opinionated on things, and seems to hate fat people. I can only tolerate him in small amounts.

When it comes to gaming streamers, I would rather listen to:

Manlybadasshero
Rev Says Desu
Hero Hei
PenguinZ0
Pretty much any Vtuber. I love Hololive, Henya, Buffpup, Silvervale. So many others.

Markiplier is another one I can only take in small amounts. I love his videos where he plays I'm on Observation Duty. His emotional reactions and screaming are funny when he gets scared. But he's too over the top in other videos. A lot of the time he's screaming, or singing, and it feels like the song and dance in a disney movie. Just dumb stuff for kids.

Idk, but I hit the "Do Not Recommend Channel" button on him not too long ago. Everything he does is reaction videos, and nothing else. At least as far as Youtube recommends, and I don't need more of those in my feed.

He made a lot of money, and now he's just a opinionative ♥♥♥♥ in front of the camera trying to gain clout like the rest of YouTubers have become. I guess you could say I'm a bit envious or jealous.

Every #%^#% week someone posts or bumps a thread about Asmogimp to the front page.

And, not just here, but in many of the most popular game forums on Steam. And, they are always the same tired crap - A few sentences whining about why everyone hates him or breathlessly speaking his name ... or just another one of his crappy reaction vids and that's it.

Of course, the same happens elsewhere. It's like he hired Pew's heckin' marketing firm.

It's gotta be marketing. It's either bots, marketing agents, or lastly... misguided supporters trying to save Asmonblrb from his haters before naptime starts.

Tell him to take a shower and to clean his darn room.

Why do people dislike him? They're probably sick of these threads... His content is crap. He does reaction videos and caters to a large collection of young men and boys that... one worries for.

It's a free world, mostly, so you're welcome to him. Enjoy. Just don't expect much.

Because he is a clown with garbage takes and no common sense, but casuals take anything he says as the word of god.

You can have someone great at a game give a dissertation on the topic, complete with hard evidence, then this dude says something dumb in 3 seconds, and his fanboys start attacking the expert and calling him a fool because Trashcan Mold said the opposite.

It doesn't help that he has literally said he doesn't care about anyone else's opinion (even if they are factually correct), unless that other person also has a large social media following.

Because he has an opinion. If you want to be adored by everybody in today's world, you can't have one of those. You've gotta just go with the flow of society, say what people expect you to say. Preferably avoid politics.

He's alright. Like Moist, but more mature. More tasteful. I'd prefer him over many, regardless of his political orientation.
