Even if it's something like Touhou where you have to mod it for any language that isn't Japanese, I will always do so.
And if it's a voice acting thing, I will either make sure it's English or just turn it off. Both because of the above reason of knowing what's being said, and because honestly I find Japanese voices kind of annoying naturally so... my tolerance runs thin.
Maybe this applies to other languages, but I don't know. Games usually either have English acting or Japanese acting by default. I don't think I know a single game where the default voice is anything else, so I'm not sure if it'd find other languages equally annoying or not. Doesn't matter anyways, I'm still changing it to English or muted regardless.
However my preference is english. Even if finnish is an option I'd still play in english.
