Do you play your video games in a language other than English?
And if so, what language.

If the game has horrible English voice over I'll keep it to the native language which is usually Japanese.

I stick to English games.
If the verbalizations are gibberish (minionese, etc) then it probably doesn't matter(or if it does then it should be subtitled). I don't think I have too many of those kinds of games on steam.

French, Itallian and, of course, my native language.

The only times I played my game in a language other than English was Ghost of Tsushima and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice . Both of them are in Japanese with English subtitles. It’s just way more immersive that way.

whatever setting the game is based in ill choose, japanese, chinese, german etc etc.

although i LOVE games that have mixed nationalities where they all speak their respective mother tongue.

I really enjoy that in movies. For some reason, every single country does this, except the US: in their movies that have people from different nationalities, they usually just speak 1 sentence each in whatever language then switch to English.

What really bother me is when the movie (by Hollywood) is set in Europe and everyone just speaks a very heavy, slow and stupid English, with some bogus accent, duting the whole film.

"Da! I VEERY RUSSION. I EAT BEAR MY MAMA MAKES. VERY TASTY, SPECIALLY WITH DA VODKA!" - so f-ing stupid.

That's why I European Cinema is kicking that Fast Culture crap in the ass.

Yeah, that too:
I like to play Japonese games with voices in Japanese and have some western/latin language (like English) for written text.

Also, Anime dubbed in English is freaking ridiculous. I really hate when there isn't the original voicing. I can't read Japanese (beyond some basics), though.

Japanese, though that's against my will. I don't understand jack and I constantly have to use the translate camera.

Guess that's the price I gotta pay for buying a cheaper version of a game, or sometimes a game that isn't localized.

Japanese, then english UI(too lazy to change from default or suffers from horrible localization to the point i can't even understand), russian voice over for giggles ( sometimes even UI if too lazy)

Shame.

Do watch European movies like Sarajevo and Young Marx (to name a couple). Amazingly good!

The only Hollywoodian movies I know with proper attention to other cultures and accents are The Godfather and Inglorious Basterds, by two great directors.

Actors like Christoph Waltz, Daniel Brühl, Mélanie Laurent and Mads Mikkelsen (very active in Hollywood AND European Cinema) are not only very good at acting, but also have an inspiring domain on languages.

English is hard to understand for me, so if there's available I'll use my laungage...
Though sometimes it's very poor translation, in that case I'll use English.
