I’m a fan of the console-style form factor for under-TV builds, but it’s difficult to find one that checks all my boxes at a decent price. Other than that I mostly use towers because they’re readily available and reasonably priced.
The last case I bought was a Jonsbo D41 Mesh because I needed a full ATX case for the first time in something like 15 years and it was one of the cheaper options I could find.
Even the new PlayStation (PS5) is vertical
So it really depends on your needs. But I'm sure you'll find off-rack PC being verical like those on PC master race.
Heck, one could be case-free, open, and collecting dust on a desk.
I'd be very excited for a horizontal setup since it'd very likely mean I'd be setting up a server machine. However, for my current purposes, vertical is the only viable option.
Tempered glass case was a mistake
True. I've not had a horizontal case since my last CRT monitor.
Idk, on all schools I was it was always vertical... 🤷♀️
I never had a computer (only laptop v:)
