For example Malaysia prime minster Mahathir Mohamad is over 95. He can still deliver a good speech and lead a team.
For min age I'd say the an elite 25 is good enough. An age that is able to be a high rank in Army, as a lead scientist, so on. Full of promising goals and unbias attitude. Get a 35 or 45 and it's usually money and business people with hidden agendas.
I think the minimum age should be 18. If I can vote, I should be able to become a candidate.
People in their 70's can be healthy.
I believe their should be some sort of intelligence test.
IMO, the minimum age should be 30 and the maximum should be 70 (due to the average life expectancy in the US being ~77 y/o).
Unless we get some crazy good life and mental extending tech or medical discovery that literally reverses aging and brain degradation.
Beyond 70 they don't represent the majority of multiple newer generations and are often wholly out of touch with the average person's reality... Especially if they have been in politics for most of their lives.
Not only should there be age limits, but there should also be TERM LIMITS and lobbyist bans.
NOBODY in a position of power deserves to be there for long.
