What’s your favorite medieval weapon?
I always found the naginata to be an interesting medieval weapon from Japan.

Bubonic plague

I did get chewed out by my old History teacher during the exercise when she gave us a mound of modeling clay and told to make an accurate Norman castle, and I was wasting time making little clay animal and human corpses to catapult over the walls and poison the waters with.

Also, I was a bit of a jerk and almost made another girl cry, criticizing her for trying to make clay cannons, 400-some years too early.

Those old Mobile playsets really are bad influences on kids.

Revolver
Useful
That's tough. I quite like the lance but the flail is a very close runner-up.
Katana

It's a graceful sword with an ergonomic grip and blade.
I like axes. They just seem like they'd be the most intimidating... I don't know what it is about them. But it'd be way scarier seeing someone coming at you with a big axe than a sword
A recurve bow. It's actually more convenient than a longbow.

Another fun fact for you but the best method to unalive a noble knight is a blunt weapon. Maces, Warhammer, Poleaxes will do the trick. Or if you’re really fancy then a flintlock musket.

A plate armor could actually protect the knight from a musket shot :P
Yes and no. It will protect a knight from a certain distance but after they get too close then it will just penetrate through. After the 16th century knights slowly became obsolete since they can easily be unalived by a bullet. It’s easier to train someone with a boom stick than to train a knight just to lose him from a single bullet shot by a leprechaun with Down syndrome.
The humble spear. A weapon as old as time itself. Cheap, easy to produce, but does get the job done.

I see where you are coming from.
but personally I find the longbow more charming.
the recurve I tend to link more to barbaric hordes on horseback.

-in draw weight recorves could match longbows.
(even though generally longbows were heavier calibver..150-200kg draw for longbow vs 90-120kg draw for recurves.there was no reason it could not match the heaviest longbows

however it did lack range.. generally only a third from that of a longbow..
so a recurve was a lot more of a close range weapon..

no problem if shooting from horsback.. like mongols did..

but if shooting off a castle wall to armies at 1-2km distance besieging you.. no use..

Ohhh!!! That’s a Cuirass. I’ve seen those worn by Spanish Conquistadors. Yes yes. They do their job but I didn’t know medieval knights wore those as well.

A lightsaber.

It's from a long time ago. That should count as medieval.
Nice!
