Why do most men never wash their dishes?
Why is it that hard? I can't fathom the idea of letting dishes pile up and they even let them with food bits.

It doesn't matter if they cooked or not, they always let them pile up, it's honestly disgusting.

Even if you have a dishwasher, just rinse off your plate and then put it in there. Now there's no clutter on the counter.

Idk, I just figured it makes life easier

I used to not wash my dishes, but for the last few years I have had a simple principle: At the end of the day, dishes must be dealt with. And if I cant do that, at least before the day after really starts.

Tired of living in my own mess I guess.

Um, I just wash my dish right after I finished eating and clean up the plate. Why wait until the sink is full just to clean them? It ends up being a pain in the ass and you're just asking for roaches to start running around. Sounds to me like you're complaining about either a man in your life or some men who just happen to put it in the sink because they happen to have someone else who apparently does the dishes.

But guess what? They're only like that because YOU allow it. If you make a point that the person has to clean up after themselves, then they'll do it. YOU'RE an adult. THEY'RE an adult. So perhaps you shouldn't have to remind an ADULT to clean up after themselves. It says NOTHING about the general population of men though.

I wash my dishes as I'm cooking, and after I eat. It's really not that hard for me.

No doubt. Sounds like "most men" that Yabin hangs out with are of a certain mentality and/or work ethic. And, sure, I've known a few in my time, but I don't live with them anymore.

Because I kicked them out for failing to pay rent (and failing to wash their dishes).

I've known guys that are the sole household cleaners...

I've know gals that are the messy ones and has the guy do all the cleaning...

The funny part is that the people who say "Most ___" are the first to be offended when grouped with a bunch of dissimilar people as "most"... it's a lot of bias projected in order to feel correct.

I do the most dishes in my household. If they pile up, I won't be able to sleep that night until they're done.

Tell that to my wife, she's the one who fill up the damn sink and I have to wash them. She's a friggin mess at her desk in her room, everywhere she goes

Yeah, my ex was as well. Problem was I was also messy... we ended up using the floor as a closet because neither of us could bother using the real one. And the pile of dishes was so tall things could get really moldy before we dealt with it.

I am really happy I am not as messy now! She probably has learned as well, this was not meant as a gist at her, it was more a case of what can happen if both are messy people.

Probably because that's the kind of men you decide to spend time with? If keep clean sink of dishes is so important to you, then you should ask before spending more time with them. :lunar2019laughingpig:
