We have to talk about "Z" and "Wagner PMC" groups

This entire thing doesnt bring anything, but there are other ways. The topic isnt over for me, but this discussion is. Hateful content has to go on Steam, and some of you have been right. It shouldn´t be limited to a single topic only.
Regardless I have a massage for our Russian people:

Wagner was formed from a joint UK-US operation meant to infiltrate a PMC loyal to them into Putin's circle. BUT, Putin understands PMCs and the criminal market well enough to, y'know, make it obvious they're better off with him.

And maybe groom an upcoming liutenant to stage a coup on the leadership, after manipulating them into distancing themselves from their allies. Kind of his favorite trick honestly.

Currently he uses Wagner to release reverse psy-ops where Wagner pretends to be disloyal or critical in order to control people's response to Russia's failures...while also tweaking the west's nipples over their failed op.

The Z moniker is popular, but so overused that legit actual real Nigerian cafe scammers use it. This is good cover, but...kinda useless?

There will be consequences for people that use "Z" as well as other signs. I am sure Wagner PMC´s logo and others will follow. Valve usually is cooperative for removing similar banned logos; e.g. nazi logos.

with all the respect to any good intentions out there, sometimes to fight such a basic aspect of human nature as lies is more than enough not only to fight nazis (or any other extremities), but it's actually all what it takes to win.

Nope, that's not how that works. In fact, it can actually lead to the complete opposite: Steam support determining that those groups are getting harassed which may even make them ignore any kinds of reports for some time to come.

Quantity doesn't make quality, it doesn't matter how often something gets reported. What matters is that 1) It get's reported, even once. And 2) It actually breaks Steam's rules of conduct.

Look up which countries voted against the entire Planet at the United Nations for "Glorification of Nazis". There were 2 countries that voted for it. We are the bad guys.

look up which country routinely introduces the exact same resolution to the general assembly for the purposes of propaganda

and then gets mad when it gets amended with little things like, "wars of aggression against your neighbour are also bad"

The Support for Ukraine is massive, which is great. This "united" Russia basically means they want to re-instate the USSR; which would once again tear appart europe. So what do you think should we do about it; just ignore it or fight against it? In my opinion steam shouldn´t be a place for people that only seek destruction and violence.

The Wagner groups aren´t even better, some of you may have seen footage from them commiting war crimes. Should they be praised in an community like us? NEVER!

We should do something together and get those groups and people removed from the community!


I am sure there are many russian people that don´t support the war, but some douchbags are everywhere! Lets remove those bad guys and support the good ones to free their nation.

Steam should be closed down in Russia. Steam won't do it because their first love is money not morality.
