Dislike someone for having a different opinion? Not really except when it comes to brainwashed tribalism and mainstream media-type talking points that have no factual basis and are pushed purely on emotion and "opinionated reporting of the raw data".

Or the people that push opinion and theory as "facts".

I will usually point out why they are wrong and "agree to disagree" with them and move on as it is not worth wasting much time on them.

It is much easier to fool someone than it is to convince someone they have been fooled. So I am not going to waste a lot of time on people that are clearly brainwashed or zealots.

I honestly wish more people could learn to "agree to disagree" without trying to brute-force everyone into their way of thinking. I also wish more people would realize everything isn't a 2-choice decision. Not everything is "black or white", "true or false", or "us vs them".

The real world is more nuanced and grey than a lot of these people are comfortable with.

You can "dislike" something without "hating" that thing or the person saying that thing.

Things are a lot nicer when people can agree to disagree over opinions without being at each other's throats over every little thing. :cleanseal:

I've got nothing but this. You did this to me. And I haven't forget it. Heh:

Totally agree, space ferret.

It depends, Rhila. I don't care as long as they don't push their views on me.

I like people with different opinions to share ideas unless they get defensive and aggressive which happens sometimes by people with poor egos. :hp_nikki:

No. People are welcome to disagree with me. I dislike those who tell me opinions I didn't ask for and/or try a bit too hard to make me agree with them.

There we go.

It is very rare when anybody changes their mind.

True... but then again you're one of the more reasonable people in Off Topic... :2019smile:

What's the point in that?
And more importantly, where's the money in that? :alienshootermoney::csd2smile::profit:

I'd rather they be able to speak their mind instead of them being censored, silenced or persecuted. Now if only they'd return the favor.

Perhaps I'm in the wrong in that regard, thinking that maybe they'd have some scruples. Ah well, what can you do?

I may be a minority but i like it if someone has different opinions. You can learn from it. I don’t like people which are hateful towards others because they have a different opinion. But that’s an intelligence thing

I'm kind of like that in the sense that hearing another person's perspective can be quite helpful or interesting, and also in the sense that I actually like hearing about other people's hobbies and interests even if I have no desire to partake in them - or rather next to no ability to do so.

It's why I ask some of the people I know who like sports about sports. I genuinely do not care to see latex-clad men play with balls and pat each other on the tuckus, but if other people like sports then I guess I'll ask about it.
Yeah the world would be a boring place if everyone would think the same

I dislike people that (emphasis on) PESTER me with their opinions and test my PATIENCE.
There are other opinions besides mine...:pudcatsurprised:

I love when others disagree with my own opinion as I do there's. Because I want to learn and have our own idea's and opinion debugged. It's call debating and you actually learn a thing or two from debating with other people.

Im tired of watching debates and conferences where people start shouting, screaming and falling back on emotions instead of using logic and common sense to talk about issues.

e.g I watched a video from a class room in seattle (i think) where a doctor/teacher was discussing the main differences between male and females and students were going crazy. Im like what WTF, this isn't a debate because facts were just thrown out of the window with emotions.

Im British and we generally dont care.

Americans seem to be so tribal these days to over the top levels, proclaiming anything and everything as political or shoving it into a political side. You all need to chill

I dont like being TOLD to do something or how to live or how to act...like religion for example but I cant say I have ever had many people do that.

Plus humans are doomed, we are a selfish, aggressive, angry, tribal bunch of entitled scum bags. We all know that when / if climate change or overpopulation or resource wars happen and kick off to a massive major degree that everyone will demand and beg and try and get whatever they can for themselves.

Its like in horror or zombie movies where people are trying to flee and say theres a boat thats CLEARLY full of people but every single individual will think " oh I personally will and can get on because one more wont hurt " regardless that theres 100 people around them all doing the same thing. A human wont stop and look around and say " we cant all get on, lets just wait patiently "
