Is that Normal feelings or Abnormal ?

Consider Historically Vast majority of People never liked Homosexuals and Till date it's still Majority's feeling towards LGBT.

Why people use the term phobic to normal human feelings likes it's rare and Abnormal?


If I say I am gay to my family they will freak out, There are 6 members in our family. That goes same to My country which has 200 million population. So how come phobia which is supposed to be rare thing being so Common among human beings ?

Maybe it's just normal feeling?

Its a normal feeling for some people. Sometimes those people try to over compensated via virtue signaling. Though sometimes the person is gay or bi, but can't accept that about themselves.

It can also be like imprinted on people to be that way at a young age, such as religious indoctronation. And things and beliefs which are forced on you before your brain is well developed can stick with a person a long time, maybe forever.

"phobic" means scared of. I doubt anyone is scared of gays. Ever see them throw a ball? It's more like ♥♥♥♥-annoyed. Nobody gives a crap really. It doesn't make you "special" or anything at all. Certain things will always be seen as "gross" and you have to learn to deal with that. I have gay friends and I don't care what they do as long as they don't give details about nasty stuff. We really don't want to hear about it all the time it's not like a big accomplishment like making a handmade cabinet or something.

It isn't normal to be "homophobic", but it is normal to hate people cuz random reasons and it just so happens that homosexual is one of these random reasons. You would probably find bazillion excuses to hate that one guy you didn't even know that he exists. or perhaps "not knowing" is why you hate it.

And by normal i mean, from my own observation of people in general.

A phobia describes a strong fear towards another thing. Phobias can be widespread (i.e. afraid of heights), but still be classified as such. I find homosexuality to be almost no different to a heterosexual relation, as both involve attraction to another thing or object. However, societal norms may make a population reject and or dislike something deemed "abnormal" or "unacceptable". As a human, passion is a given right to you. There is no one way to express it

Kids are taught from early age to hate everything different, usually not even intentionally but by just ignoring when they bully everyone who looks or behaves differently in school.
It`s also another form of governmental or ruling body control, if everyone are the same by established rule set then they are easier to control and if you teach the population to hate everything different they will do your job for you by getting rid of undesirables who rock the established order.

While I am aware of POV pushing that can occur in the LGBTQ community, it does not define what homosexuality is. Furthermore, a certain culture of people may be more inclined to share their thoughts and opinions of which they agree upon. As gamers, we really like to talk about how crappy some AAA publishers can be. I know that might not be the greatest example, but it shows how well-established and "mainstream" ideas form the basis of what we see and hear.

I do not find it to be hate speech. From what the poster has said, he has not incited hate against homosexuals in his response. Of course, rebuttals to someone's arguments are always welcome if respectful. However, I don't think we should treat differing opinions that way
