Sexualised Female Characters in Games

I'm worried that female characters in games are starting to become desexualised because of SJWs. It happened with Lara Croft, started to creep into DOA6 and also (although I'm not a fan) Mortal Kombat. I've also noticed this with new female characters too being made to look less sexually attractive. I know that this is a push that modern feminists such as Anita Sarkeesian have started. I'm worried that in 10 or 20 years the SJWs will have totally stamped out sexiness in AAA games.

While I don't mind some new female characters being made to look more serious and relatable if it fits the tone of the game, I don't want sexy characters to become extinct. There's nothing wrong with attractive women in media. Everyone likes attractive people. Its ridiculous that people get so angry over something that it is totally natural to like. It might be jealousy or sexual repression or maybe both at the same time, but they need to get over it and stop trying to take away people's fun. If you don't like it then stay away from it and watch Disney movies or something.

Yes. Though, some people's tastes may vary I'm talking about the characters who wear skimpy outfits that show off their body. Especially if they're really curvaceous as for some reason SJW also hate big breasts and bums (asses for US) on female characters.

I doubt it. Sex sells, for better or worse. Using sex appeal to sell a product has been a thing since the dawn of time, and it's just not gonna completely go away no matter how hard feminists try to stamp it out.

Also, I'm personally not a huge fan of these games, but last I checked, Lara Croft is still fairly attractive, with plenty of "artwork" of her floating around the internet. I'm not sure what you mean by making her less attractive.

I hope you're right. I just know that the woke police have a lot of power nowadays. i'm not going to hold my breath. At the very least I expect it to become rarer.

While Lara is still attractive she's way less attractive than she used to be. She oozed sex appeal before and now she's much blander in comparison. While I understand that they wanted to expand her personality more, they could have at least thrown us a bone by bringing back the old Lara too.

As all things in "Democracy", they are falsely-labelled, elaborate scams. In democracy, "rule of the majority" was supposed to be a thing! Female characters are being desexualized because gaming no longer belongs to the hormone-crazed still-developing male teenager demographic.

Now it's an adult and mainstream hobby.

It's not the SJW. It's all the now adults and parents playing games and spending their disposable income and groaning and cringing to gratuitous B&A.

At a certain point in life everyone puts down that Baywatch Pam Anderson poster hanged in the room.

Gaming is at that life stage now.

Because its unfair to take something enjoyable away from people. Especially something that comes from a natural drive. I'm going to assume that you're a straight woman? This is something straight women will never understand because they don't find women attractive and instead view them as competition. I'm so glad that I'm not straight.
