Highly mutated COVID variant putting scientists on high alert

Scientists have been put on high alert due to a new, highly mutated COVID variant. Currently, it is impossible to say how far it's spread and how the immunity works against it. WHO has placed the variant under monitoring, which is an encouragement for countries to track and report the cases.

In March this year, the White House polled COVID-19 experts regarding the likeliness of a highly mutated variant. Most experts placed the chances between 10 and 20 percent. So it seems like the unlikely happened. Vaccine manufacturers are working on a new booster to target the dominant strains. FDA has yet to approve any but there's anticipation that authorization will happen in the upcoming weeks and vaccines will be distributed in mid to late September.

A lot of people thought that COVID is gone but no - it is still there, and actions will be taken to address the issue.

Also the Lockdown worked very well for the Corporations due the absurd wealth transfer (and was ruthless to the regular worker / citizen in general), it happened during the 1st round of COVID, now paired with the drought and other issues at the Panama canal alongside a few interesting news, what could possibly go wrong?

We recall a video where he was saying something along the lines of him making 20 times the expected profits from vaccines. And how until recently profits were quite poor until covid. And then being asked why he didn't share the formual with poor countries for free.

Then all the excuses came out. Like they won't do it right, it won't be safe, etc.

I don't know anyone who died to Covid, but I know of a few people who were messed up with the vaccine. A few liberal friends who were totally black pilled over it after having some pretty harsh reactions to the vaccine and then getting covid anyways.

I have a more left-of-center friend who went from being a healthy, GMO-avoiding, beefy gym-bro bodybuilder, to a thin stick-figure with a "Mysterious" heart condition after getting the vax and something like 5 boosters. The Doctors don't know what happened and are just saying it must be family genetic history even though his family has no history of heart conditions on either side and this only "suddenly popped up". Let's just say he is having some "media narrative" trust issues now.

It's something scientists have been saying early on when the "vaccine" was being pushed, that an imperfect vaccine (for example, one that only protects against a single protein), would only place pressure on the virus to mutate that one protein, rendering the vaccine completely useless for the new strain, requiring a new vaccine with a new protein, which would just put selective pressure on the new strain to do the same thing. Rinse and repeat.

With a "vaccine" designed that way, it ensures two things. That the virus will mutate in under a year, and that old vaccines will be useless against it, requiring people to take new shots. That's easily a tens of billions of dollar per year market.

Why sell a cure once when you can sell "treatments" for the rest of the patient's life?
