New Zelda this week. Are you pumped?
I could be crazy but I don't find it appealing. Open worlds don't do it for me, nor do a lot of puzzles.

Perhaps I'll change my mind.

I don't have a switch and even if I had one ... I rarely buy any games on launch.

I'll just replay the older zelda games , I'm halfway through oracle of seasons.

I'll redo minish cap after this.

Breath of the wild and tears of kingdom look neat , it's not I'm not interested but I have too many games I want to play or revisit already.

I’ve not played Breath of the Wild yet, and don’t own a Switch, so I’m not looking at Tears of the Kingdom for the time being.

I’d like to play a couple other games in the series too, specifically Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. Zelda is one of those franchises that I really missed out on as a kid. The only one I played was Wind Waker, and I didn’t even finish it.

Dude, twilight princess is awesome. Forget the recent Zelda’s and play that

I absolutely agree Twilight Princess is wonderful. Listen to this guy he is right!

(only things I disliked are the small hidden town inspired by western movies, Epona don't fit too well with the gameplay overall, the caravan journey... anything inspired by western movies basically :P and the dungeon in the sky was not as good as the other ones, but its boss was the best, and not only in that game, one of the best bosses I have exer seen in any game! And everything else in that game is fantastic as well)

i don't have switch that means i don't care
i love Zelda, i used to have a Snes when i was a kid and Link to the past on it.

but my problem is that i'm not going to buy an entire console to just play 1 game, heck i would have to buy a TV as well, + make room for one. thats a lot commitment to play 1 game.
thats a lot of money and trouble to go through just for 1 game...

i don't think i'm the only one facing this issue. pretty sure many others feel the same way and want a PC port. its just a matter of convenience. i have nothing negative to say about Zelda games, its just that i'm always going to miss them due to console limitation.
No, never like it.
Can't even finish breath of the wild. Too boring.

Buy this

And feel free to thank me later.
Just please do not kill me when you will get to the most difficult puzzles near the end of the game (almost impossible to practically execute it even after you logically solve it) I hated that game because of it, I hated the develkopers because of it and I couyldn't play any retrogame for weeks after beating this one because it made me feel sick, but other than that it is an absolutely wonderful game and in my opinion much better than Link to the past (much better than any Zelda except Twilight Pribcess I would say)

i probably would if i was 20 years younger. at this point its just the nostalgy factor that interest me. its not the world building or the amazing new mechanics in zelda games they have but simply because it is a zelda game. the genre of the game doesn't play a big role in it.

just like Megaman X, i wouldn't play a similar sidescroller but only MMX because its MMX.

like i'm already familiar with the characters and the story, i just want to see that story to progress.

More excited to get the new Bob Dylan record coming out next month, than I am this system seller title, in all honesty. Zelda was never really my thing, and BotW scratched the itch.

Sort of like the God of War games, I finished one and I don't have it in me to play another right after.

I agree, Twilight Princess is an absolute work of art, from beginning to end. I much preferred that to the latest game.
When they going to marry link and zelda. He has been saving her for how long now. Same with mario and the princess.
It's been leaked in its entirety. Didn't check it out, and even if I did, I wouldn't share spoilers, but perhaps I should try BotW first?

i already tried it. if you like unorthodox/unconventional/non ubisoft style open world games then maybe? it focus more on immersion. if i have to compare it it would be like mgsv without kojima-like story.

i recommend play it on pro hud which is available on the settings. it is basically a minimal hud. in my experience with that hud, it actually make the game more immersive and better than before while also being less "in your face"

ik what kind of person you are, you probably like prince sidon from the fish people kingdom... like i did

But it's highly suggested in a few mario games that mario and the princess are knocking boots at least.

There isn't any romance between link and zelda. Mipha is Link's gf.
of course it's the fish he would rather marry
