Hidden game count

For today's random thread #1374626, we are observing how many hidden games we have in our libraries.

The quickest way to find out is by going to Steam Client Configuration page, expanding user-collections.hidden, copying the "added" array into a text editor, going to the last line in the file and checking the line number.

I hid 155 games, most of which I presume were freebies. How many have you hidden?

I wouldn't be surprised if over half my games are hidden, probably some shovelware stuff I got for free that I couldn't care less for.

Do servers count? Cause that's all I got hidden are servers for the games.

No, if you hid "Tools" (?) section, it doesn't count.

This thread is about games hidden in the library, but that's a pretty huge number nonetheless.

ok nvm it's 3 games. i forgot the reason why i hid the first game. as of second one it because it become somewhat invasive idk how that happened and the last one is freaking metal gear rising... i forgot how i get there in the first place

That's why instead of removing games, I only hide them, so that they can be enjoyed by friends approved to use Family Sharing.

my list of 29 hidden games, they are hidden either because not game controller friendly, too hard and or bad outdated awkward movement and or needed to much attention ( the sims) or were money grabber games (payday) the hitman 2 needed constant youtube video viewing to get through missions, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon® Wildlands anticheat is to strong, no more offline cheating (T ainers) and others are bugged and crash to much and few were band wagon purchase's *cough*Call of Duty®: Black Ops*cough* and a couple too nerve wracking to get through
