Aren't vampires and werewolves bloodthirsty monsters? The people in the movies aren't cursed with their affliction, they're basically hot guys with super-powers.
I think Blade and Van Helsing need to team up and put an end to this.
If I want something romantic I can already watch Maison Ikkoku or Video Girl Ai or something like that. Sorry but I am 100% sure that quality wise Maison Ikkoku is better than Twilight
Sci-fi is, to me, stories of what isn't real but could happen. Maybe not all movies and maybe not in our lifetime, but I see it as a possibility. Sci-fi is just a genre that seems to bring forth a ton of new ideas and get people talking about things they never thought of before.
If this theory is true, I have to imagine the superhero craze is negatively affecting other genres of movies as they all try to copy the superhero format and chase Disney.
Basically. Money ruined creativity and there's no clear market for good independent movies like there is here on Steam for independent games.
Also, just a thought, smart phones... designed to keep your eyeballs glued to the screen. Movies are now competing with the Google's and Apples and TikTok's and YouTube's of the world. What's easier to know you'll have a good time, a device you already paid for, designed to learn what you like and give you more, or a movie that might or might not be good.
I like good movies, sorry to ruin the party.
Give me a movie and I'll watch it, if I haven't, but I most likely will think it's really bad. I did really well in cinematography...so bad movies are annoying.
Yes humans are capable of a range of emotions irrespective of sex but for onscreen to truly work it has to invoke something beyond Aw, that's nice.
I have only watched the first movie. I tried to watch it three times and it actually physically gave me headaches from the stupidity.
The only way I made it through was the Rifftrax version. Actually made it pretty decent, ripping it apart.
So no. It is going to be horrible. It isn't Emma Watson involved in this somehow
Guilty Pleasure I guess.
