I was not aware that "The Little Mermaid" was to receive a live-action remake. From what I've deduced about Disney's past live-action remakes, this will likely dumb down what are already simplified adaptions of works created by other people. Furthermore, it is not in my best of interest to fund Hollywood movies

I just gone done watching Soul. Absolutely insane movie, felt like a 9.5/10, I'd even call it Pixar's magnum opus. There were just so many subtleties and nuances.

Watching stuff like that makes you realise how hard Disney films took a nosedive. I feel disrespected when I watch Disney movies, it's the type of stuff only a child could enjoy.

I aint gonne watch a film of how woke the acttors can be, The original its the best, it cannot be replace by politically incorrect film and calling it modern, wich there is nothing modern in that live action film. It lacks of a lot of imagination and there is nothing that empty feelings either in the actors or the other people involved in the film. If they really wanted to make a mermaid with african descendency they should use other stories or legends like: Aqua Mai or Mami Wata or Mamba Wutu, there is also another about a spirit of water in shape of a woman Chitapo alonsige a monstruos snakeFunkwe, there is certain version were the snake is the guardian of the spirit.

It's not weird. They are hateful people who somehow think that they're rebelling against their oppressors by being racist, sexist and homophobic to their fellow citizens. When it comes down to it, they actually support the systems that oppress them; and oppose those they should be in solidarity with, cheering when the system takes away their liberties and their lives.

I don't like the diverse casts of the new Disney movies, it's like they are trying so hard to be diverse instead of just focusing on the story and originality.

Come to think of it, I don't like the majority of new movies and shows with diverse casts, because it just comes across as forced and I generally don't like racism being forced on me.

Disney could make movies of African folklore instead, that would be diverse. Not picking movie casts based on skin colour. The TV and movies should be sued for this blatant racism due to pressure from a racist group.
