Nah, you are missing very much v:
At least is a happy moment, but unless you do not have anybody else to go with ,you will get bored
That can't ban any of the others either.
Back then nobody actually talked about it as something special, it was just happy people wanted to be together.. now in our age however, we all have to get a label.. either you are a number, a letter or a far right or left wing.. or even worse.. you might be a boomer.
Now, I know Americans and some others don't take it very seriously, but I don't understand why anyone chooses to get married if they don't intend to have children anyway.
I know that some people in same-sex relationships choose to adopt children, I find it absurd but it's none of my business.
The two people I went to wedding with have 4 kids now. Just saying. Its a modern society (even back then) you can get what you want, if you really want to.
Besides getting married does not have to be religious, many do so to secure eachother and showcase their comitment from a law perspective (it has nothing to do with religion, children or so forth, but is more economical)
Infact even religious weddings are economical in nature. That is what you secure after all.
Doesn't matter how many votes. It's ruled unconstitutional.
