I went to weddings only for cake. The cake is all that matters in a wedding.

No state can ban gay marriage.
"Gay" is only 1/4 of "LGBT".

That can't ban any of the others either.

They sound super rare given how few have been to one.

I don't watch television but there have been shows where there have been LGBT wedding episodes.

Ok I have to admit, I don't know any LGBTQ? people, but I will say this. I find the movie Bird Cage absolutely hilarious and would attend a wedding if invited no doubt. Most of my intimate knowledge of how LGBTQ people are comes from film. It would probably be a riot. While we may or may not always agree with the choices of others, it doesn't mean we can't associate ourselves with them.

The number of people that identify as LGBT is much lower than a lot of people realise; it is somewhere in the low single digits percentage-wise. Add to that that not all of them will get married and that those who do may choose to not have a ceremony and the chance of any one person having ever been to one would be relatively low.

Depends how many votes they get. Not enough votes, can't do jack.

I have back in 1988
Back then nobody actually talked about it as something special, it was just happy people wanted to be together.. now in our age however, we all have to get a label.. either you are a number, a letter or a far right or left wing.. or even worse.. you might be a boomer.

I don't think I have been to any kind of wedding.

Now, I know Americans and some others don't take it very seriously, but I don't understand why anyone chooses to get married if they don't intend to have children anyway.

I know that some people in same-sex relationships choose to adopt children, I find it absurd but it's none of my business.

The two people I went to wedding with have 4 kids now. Just saying. Its a modern society (even back then) you can get what you want, if you really want to.

Besides getting married does not have to be religious, many do so to secure eachother and showcase their comitment from a law perspective (it has nothing to do with religion, children or so forth, but is more economical)

Infact even religious weddings are economical in nature. That is what you secure after all.

Doesn't matter how many votes. It's ruled unconstitutional.

Even if they do intend to have children it is still pretty-much entirely pointless.
