How long do you think until woke-ism in media is finally dead?

How long until most game makers and hollywood realize that everything woke they put out end up flopping in revenue and sales? Not only that but review scores too.

I honestly thought it would've ended sooner, but we still getting more woke garbage released and I hope in 2024 it'll die down or maybe they turn it down a notch.

Because when you ask most people (not just joe public) what they mean by wokeism they can't even define it.

It usually boils down to "basic empathy". When you dig deeper it usually means someone's railing against something against gay people or transgender stuff.

And here's where the evidence comes in.

I grew up in the 1970s in Britain. Ever heard of David Bowie? Glam rock? Gender bending? David Bowie especially was known as an icon of being androgynous and embracing non gender norms. And he CERTAINLY DID NOT start it.

I'm just pointing out that since I was a child this was common then. But right wing Republicans and religious zelots who are pushing THEIR agendas won't tell you that - it's why they want to ban books because they don't like inconvenient history.

Even after the glam rock days there were other icons, like the brilliant early punk classic "2 4 6 8 Motorway" by the Tom Robinson Band. A massive hit, and the B side was the very brilliant anthem "Glad to be Gay" which detailed his experience of being beaten up by far right idiots purely for the crime of being gay.

In the punk scene there were LOADS of people that embraced being gay, or being gender bending. Not least of whom the notorious London group that lived in various squats and many ended up forming groups themslves - Siouxsie Sioux, Shane McGowan (RIP mate), Boy George.

You may have heard of the latter especially - a wee lad that caused a storm when Culture Club hit the charts and appeared on Top of the Pops. George, dressed in makeup and a dresslooked beautiful and caused a stir when many dimwitted people the next day confessed to friends at work how they fancied that bird on TOTP last night only to be laughed at when they hadn't realised it was a bloke.

So sorry but this is just a tiny facet of how you are demosntrably wrong.

What you should be asking is this - how are these religious zelots able to manufacture lies and outrage and remove slowly your freedoms of speech?

Is there some irony in not believing that wokism exists? Frankly I don't believe it does, if someone wants to add something to their game, show, movie or whatever, thats their right to do so. If I want to insult someone in a game I'm making, I'll do it outright and not care for what people say.

Seriously can someone define what the actual hell Woke even means because as far as I get, the word is only used when speaking on things that "Had stuff added in to appeal to a specific side of the players/viewers" which...........okay? I'm damn sure we had another word for that which was just "Appealing to the smaller audiance" which I guess is just now "Woke"?

That's the point here. Basic empathy like this has been going on for decades.

The point about transgenderism, or at least the fact that there are NOT just two sexes in science has been known about for about 100 years. This is cearly demonstrable and well documented.

Science demonstrates that sex and gender are not the same. But even sex is NOT binary. Sex is nature and nature is messy.

You can have two chromosomes, you can have THREE sets of chromosomes too. You can have two sets of genitals, male and female. I personally know of two people who have this problem.

So sorry again but it is NOT opinion. That's part of the issue. People framing it as such when it's clearly demonstrable in science.

You can either lack empathy towards others or be an over-sensitive PC. The term 'woke' itself is merely incorrectly used, mostly by those that lack empathy and/or need a justified excuse to bully/harass/discriminate against others they hate upon.

The redefined version of woke-ism therefore won't go away until they stop their own actions and cry out why is everyone so woke! They banned me again, boo-hoo! Why can't I hate upon other races/genders/sexuality/etc, it's so-called freedom of speech, blah, blah, blah... (Karen moment)

When I hear certain Americans go on about this, it always makes me laugh as it's another of those examples where it'd blow their minds if they looked outside their borders.

Europe for example has done this basic empathy towards others for YEARS. And it works.

But they'll never do that as that's their one thing they TRULY fear - evidence.

It's already kind of dead in a way, its just being artificially kept on life support through influx of corrupt money. It doesn't occur naturally and must be actively maintained. People do not think in woke ways without coercion and brain washing.

Sure it's an opinion and it's an opinion that's firmly part of the "woke" ideology. Now there are trans-folk who exist outside of this ideology and they often believe things which "woke" people claim is hate-speech.

Funny how that works...the woke will tell people it's nobodies place to question others peoples identities and yet people like Blaire White or Buck Angel or the entire countries of Thailand aren't allowed to identify how they want because they contradict the narrative.

Which brings me to woke...woke is evil because it's only true core belief is acquisition of power. None of the things that woke people say tend to be concrete, they'd throw all those beliefs down the drain if you switch to a different topic or if the power in the scenario changed.

The so-called science behind radical gender theory came largely from one scientists called John Money...he was a twisted man who abused his patients and ultimately lead to them committing suicide. He also wrote a series of papers about the benefits of pedophilia.

And Crunchy while people can have 3 sets of chromosomes, it's an abnormality...a mutation...a defect. It's not something that is supposed to happen. And I bet 99.9999% of trans-folk don't have a chromosome disorder. And while having both sets of genitals does happen...it's considered a birth defect...and separate from the transgender issue.
