Will the world run out of food, eventually?
As human popluation increases every year, food demand will rise significantly, and eating instead foods like high-protein insects.

Unlikely, the rate of growth of the human population peaked around the 1960s and has declined at a fairly constant rate, it is now half the rate it was then and still going down. It will probably become negative by the end of the century, by which point it is estimated it will grown by maybe about 20-30% or so.

A more likely problem is going to be desertification of the subtropics as the globe keeps warming, which is likely to push something like a billion people to migrate north (in the northern hemisphere) away from areas no longer able to sustain sufficient food production for current populations.
they literally pay people not to farm and destroy corn and stuff so not likely

Possibly...

Sad thing is.. between "standards" set by governments and people being too picky if something isn't the greatest color or a bit damaged... enough food is thrown away that ~could~ feed everyone.

It's not so much supply vs. demand... it's more not throwing good food away that isn't perfect

As far as "eat bugs" that's a Democratic / Left fear mongering just to scare people into voting for them.

We produce too much food and waste it. It's sick.

Part of the globalist takeover is to limit cheap energy and the means of food production so...

I don't think so. But who has the absolute overview? Global deliveries are very susceptible to disruptions. Possibly in countries that are not self-sufficient in the food supply of their population or the population growth is exorbitant or the fertility of the land is not given.

I think the thread is about Earth.

They produce "too much" food because customers reject 90% of it..

If it's off color... if it's not the right shape.. if it's not "sweet enough"... if.. if.. if..

Everyone wants PERFECT looking food or they won't buy it... so the law of averages is that only some of all is "perfect enough" for producers to sell what they can... that what can't be sold gets tossed.

Even if you try to give it away people will complain "iT's nOt "humane" tO fEeD pEoPlE tHaT"

Even those who can't be picky are still picky... and then claim they're starving.

Honestly, Some families have 6 or more kids per couple.

Like i think condoms need to be free and vasectomies as well.

I'd be vegan before I ate insects. Ridiculous.

Because they want to control prices. Or possibly keep other items compeditive?

Its sad recently seeing car dealers smashing cars in china, because if they donated them, that might hurt the bottom line.

Even without farming or harvesting there is so much food in the ocean.

Not likely.
