"Bloated" Steam Library
Anyone hate it that, after some years, over the time, your steam library just seem messy, bloated, and full of random games you probably won't play, or if you play, never going to finish them? And annoyed by the fact that on hindsight, most of them aren't good purchases. Even if you can remove free licensed games from your Steam Library, it's still feels like it is...... unnecessarily "bloated". Feeling shameful of the pile of games you got, just there, 'collecting dusts'.

Nope. I just look at my library and go "Wow! I could've bought a house. =D"
Nope. I keep it all neatly sorted and thankfully there aren't many that I'm unhappy with either.

You can hide stuff you don't want to see but also don't want to get rid of.

just rename your computer to Bloaty's Pizza Hog, and that will fix it for you

Why don't you simply use the "permanently" remove function in the support pages to hide the games you don't like in your library?

My library isn't messy. It's neatly organised in categories and a system to keep track of my backlog.

If i hide games, would my actual total game count still shows in my steam profile page?

I heard that "permanently" aren't actually permanent at all. For example, your overall steam account achievement completion rate is still affected by the games you "permanently" removed.

I'm not sure. I don't think so though. I have OG Skyrim hidden because I have the newest editions, but it still shows up in my profile library list.

You would be very upset if you had as many games as I do T.T

It would be nice to sell the licenses on at a reduced rate or swap but capitalism just cant allow the little folk any pie.

Correct, that's why I said "permanently" and that it hides the game. The game won't be visible anymore in your profile list or the library nor count for the game badge, it's hidden. Stats like playtime hours and achievements will be hidden as well, as in not viewable for anyone. The achievement completion rate will count hem, yes, as all stats remain connected to the profile.

It's not actually permanent since people generally get regret afterwards and kept bothering support about it. This way it achieves goals people like and is still reversible.

But if you don't want to see the "bloat" in your library, and not counted towards the game badge count, using that option is the way to go.

You only have 88 games. Just make better choices.
You can categorize your Steam library and then minimize the lists you don't want to see.

I got a "Stuff I Play" and "Indie Garbage From Humble Bundles" category.

It keeps things nice and tidy.
