Why is US education system failing?
:steamthis:
投稿主: MistuhG:
Because the left destroyed it like they destroy literally *everything* they take control of. They care more about indoctrinating children with radical trash like 'critical race theory' or gender studies, instead of teaching actual useful knowledge that people can build a career out of in the real world. And they declared math was racist or something (yeah, they are completely nutters).

More funding to teach more garbage won't fix it. And corrupt leftist teachers shouldn't be rewarded for abusing their positions (and the students) to teach their personal radical ideology. It needs a good purging.

the public education system isn't failing, it is doing exactly what the people running it want it to do

Why is that rich and left politicans who implement and lobby for policies at public school, send their kids at private schools if all education is failing?

Most of people who have a lot of money send their kids to private schools, no matter of political orientation.

I’m sick of all the right-wingers vs left, left-wingers vs right. You guys are responsible why the world is so devided and f’ed right now.

Also you didn’t explain me in the other thread what ‘adler SS’ means in your profile history.

So you saying the rich and left politicans want to spend money for nothing? Yeah pal, thats not how it works.

Here is little education on SS since you think you know, is the bolt of Zeus as well as zeus naxos, and epirus league and kings insignas as well was used in epirus coins as as reperesantation of the Greeco-Hellenic Religion,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epirote_League
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epirote_League#/media/File:Epirus234bc.jpg

as well in hellenized cultures long before western used it. And Aetos is the eagle of zeus which was also used in Epirus as symbols kings insignas /as well in their coin .

Both symbols where part of the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aeacidae
Im from eprius .

Nice try though turning the thread in something else.

Which side caused more than half a million extra death by acting like idiots? Which side caused the country to get more than 25% of the deathrate of the entire pandemic with only a fraction of the world's population?

You post is funny but reality is even more hilarious.

Somebody is butt mad history is going to blame him for turning the kids into idiots, lol
No they aren't, they celebrate that fact.

Look at the folks here, they point to the left as having signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex or national origin.

And in the same comment post about how we need racial quotas and to hire people based on their skin color to makeup for the past wrongs...well pick one folks either you're proud of passing an act that prohibits the use of race for hiring or you want to champion hiring people based off race...they can't have both unless people are too stupid to consider their own positions.

There was just a 6 year old recently who brought a gun to school and shot his teacher. The teacher could tell he had a gun from talking to other kids in the class who were crying and she asked the administrators 3 separate times to search the kid, but they didn't want to because they were scared of getting accused of racism.

I heard about this. Same old excuses being used all the time until it is too late. Int he UK we have so many kids and teenagers of colour being stabbed and/or killed because of excuses like racism, it's making our schools and streets unsafe.
I think this whole thing is by design. They want the chaos, they want the crime. Just look at some of the more progressive cities/states where they excuse criminals to the point they have massive crime sprees and that just hurts everyone.
Because it runs on tax money and anything that is funded by theft will fail

Not exclusively. The lottery pays for a lot of it too in a lot of states.

yeah, i can't help but think that public schools (at least in blue states) are designed to manufacture voting blocs to keep corrupt politicians and administrators in power. you cripple any student's chances of success in the real world, and then have them dependent on the politicians for sustenance when they graduate.

Who trying to cherry pick which school gets funding to push their agenda again?

Oh right. Let's completely that part of the narrative for the specific purpose of not destroying this magnificient piece of right wing mumbo jumbo.

You guys should stop pumping out manipulative talking points and stop for a moment to start thinking about how they fit together before spewing them out.
Low standards and lack of funding if we're talking public level.

This is especially bad in places like Florida trying to implement a voucher system to take even more funding that could go to public education and dumping it to rich folks so they can go to their private schools for cheaper, separating education between good schools for the rich and bad schools for the poor. Throw in how many "schools" exist solely for religious indoctrination and not actual education, and you have a recipe for disaster. Plus, the ridiculous policy of removing funding from schools that aren't getting high enough test scores, causing them to do worse, which cycles till they get shut down.

For higher level education, it's the opposite problem, universities are constantly demanding absurdly high prices for tuition, requiring students to take loans with interest in order to go. I understand colleges need funding, but tuition costs are ridiculous and have outpaced wage growth drastically, more than standard inflation could ever dream of. College doesn't need to be free though, just affordable without needing 30k in student loans just to get a job that isn't minimum wage. Wouldn't be as much of a problem if the public education system wasn't already having problems. Could be worse tho, UK has higher avg tuition costs than US and higher avg debt per student.

Except, plenty of things not meant to be in schools aren't being taught by parents, they're being taught by schools. And the schools criticize parents who have a problem with that.
At the end of the day, it's parent's responsibility to teach their kids. PERIOD.

Stop sitting your kids in front of screens and using schools as daycare. That's why PARENTS are failing kids. Schools have a set curriculum and it's adequate for public education to prepare them for higher education.

And if you don't teach your kids, as a parent, not to go into an art or social science in higher education that's your fault. It's not the teachers or public schooling fault.

Parents who decide to teach their kids shouldn't have large chunks of their income taken from them to subsidize the school system that has failed them. So long as those parents are writing the salaries of everyone working in those buildings, they have every right to demand certain guidelines.

Just have to look at private vs public in NY at even the area of the wages are in same level

The private primary and secondary school preform way better/ prepare pupils way better, while the public primary and secondary school preform in most ineficent way possible and hire/attract the most teachers not based on meritocracy but political aligment/ political favoring/ neoptism and teach based on political policies that have no bearing in real world, and lower grades admittion/test.

The hypocrisy here stands in the fact that those who make and lobby for those policies at public education, the left politicans, and the elite send their kids themselfs to private schools.

yeah, i can't help but think that public schools (at least in blue states) are designed to manufacture voting blocs to keep corrupt politicians and administrators in power. you cripple any student's chances of success in the real world, and then have them dependent on the politicians for sustenance when they graduate.

Remember when the mayor of Chicago was offering extra credit to school kids for promoting and working for her campaign? The number of times teachers have exempted kids from homework or tests if they take part in a protest, while giving more homework or tests to the ones that don't? It happens all the time. Everyone involved should have immediately lost their jobs for using the public education system to push their nonsense onto other people's kids.
Sometimes it hits me that despite me living in a 2nd world dictatorship, my country is still better than America.
Free education and the quality of the education is decent. We produced quite a few geniuses with what we have.

Although, it is probably taking a nose dive now. Our dictator has been defunding and supporting the privatization of our healthcare system for a while now, i wouldn't be surprised if schools are up next.

Booming in fascism alright, since the governor is literally trying to get rid of of his political rivals.

Apparently "fascism" is on the rise in America since massive amounts of citizens are moving there for a better life from failed states like California or New York where they're trying to ban gas stoves yet don't even bother to stop thugs from smashing into jewelry stores.

Because of this, fascism is on the rise in Europe too (both West and East) and there it is even worse.

They even let Azov fascists talk in French Parliament and USA Congress
i can only go by what, and how, i was taught

when i went to school, i was taught that my ancestors were heathens

that the expansion into their territory was driven by god and a holy mission

i was taught that by default of being an american citizen, i was a christian and those that are not of that faith are wrong

this was all at public school

it took me reading a few college level books in high school to see what a whitewashed load it was

as far as math goes, every teacher had their own method and if we used the one we were taught that actually worked best for us, we were wrong and had to relearn the new method

learning our own language was frustrating as all get out

so many gd rules!!!!!

and, again, too many different teachers telling us different ways to get it done

then they send us to college with zero idea of how it works

it is bad enough without the politicians poking their noses into it

edit: forgot to mention that left handed writing was wrong, and punished!

Schools don't raise kids. They set them up for average jobs for average kids or above average for above average kids. They aren't going to take your dumb kid and make him a doctor.

If you want your kids to be successful, education doesn't end at school. You should be teaching them A) How to be responsible. B) How to not break the law. C) How to maintain a home by doing chores. D) How to do taxes. E) The importance of community service and civic duty.

Among MANY other things.

Some of you don't even eat dinner around a dinner table. You sit your asses in front of a TV and eat fast food. THIS is the issue with "education" today. It's not the schools. It's the parents.

I wouldn't call it an endorsement of your education system when it produces people who actually believe something like education is being given to them for free.
