Trans Community Harasses Vtuber Pikamee Into Retiring
After the recent popularity of hogwarts legacy, many streamers from all over the internet decided they would love to play a game based on one of the most beloved franchises in the world. Unfortunately the simple act of wanting to play a video game resulted in the trans community and their activists harassing, doxxing and even sending death threats and all kinds of calls to violence to those who desired to play this game.

Many streamers have been targeted over this from vtubers to non vtubers alike (another example is the harassment Silvervale faced). Streamers who have done nothing wrong viciously harassed all in the name of "tolerance". One such victim was Pikamee, a popular vtuber who was just coming back from a break and wanted to play the hogwarts game in a return stream. Not even playing the game yet and only merely talking about the desire and possibility to play it, resulted in her being maliciously attacked by the trans community and their activists doing many horrible things as well as accusing her of many things as well. This resulted in her graduating (retiring) due to the abuse she was getting. Pikamee has never hurt anyone and has always tried to be one the nicest people out there and that truly makes this sad.

This person as well as many others have been targeted and horribly harassed and as a result this event has sparked major discussions on how the trans communities abusive behavior, harassment, canceling campaigns and more are a major problem that needs to end. This has been an ongoing trend for a while now with many subjects with the community always acting like a victim after in an attempt to excuse their behavior.

What is everyone else's thoughts on the horrible harassment and death threats streamers and frankly anyone who supports Harry Potter are facing right now?

Not sure what those laws exactly are, but if it stops people from behaving like this then it sounds good to me.

It's one thing to be a critic, it's other to be actually insane.
toxic

harassment

improper behavior

etc.

you get what im getting at.
Once it's them leftover after running everyone away they'll be next ones on the chopping block if not there's like 1k of them total vs literally everyone else reporting them to the same system they setup
I just woke up and I feel like I completely misread what you said at first.

I'm still not fully awake so I'll just say it in simplest way I can, people foaming over others enjoying the game and trying to ruin their carriers for playing it are insane and deserve some kind of punishment for it.

please tell me I didn't just repeat myself, I'll probably regret reading this later if thread remains unlocked.
sounds like the internet to me

It's unfortunate that these idiots are making the community look bad.

If the trans community doesn't want to be seen as mentally ill and unstable, then they should refrain from attacking people for something as stupid as considering to play a video game. Attacking people over Harry Potter is the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

This type of toxic BS isn't something a rational person would support.

People should be able to feel safe and comfortable being themselves. That goes for the trans community, of course, but also to people that feel like playing Hogwarts Legacy. This isn't the way to be heard or get any kind of support.
Exactly this-
And to parrot the words of another:

"Acting like this does far, FAR more damage for acceptance than any scary boogyman transphobic cabal ever could. On one hand, you have a streamer who basically no one has had a bad word to say about, who is beloved by the community and is known for being one of the most wholesome streamers on the internet. On the other, you have a bunch of randoms on Twitter claiming to represent a community that already has a bad reputation, deserved or not, who proceed to bully said beloved streamer because she wanted to play a game. Bullying someone and driving them off like this over something as simple as playing a video game doesn't garner respect, support, nor sympathy from others. It paints their cause in a very bad light and can have unfortunate consequences for those on their side who are dealing with genuine issues.

Likewise, this has never been about "a stupid game." It's about complete surrender and obedience. For decades, "activists" like these exploited our natural desire to be kind and accommodate. What has been the reward? To be railed on even more as "haters." When people have cautioned that these "activists" would never be satisfied, we were told to shut up and kneel. Now you find out there can be no compromise, and it's not because we won't accommodate. They want it all."

And that's all I can really comment regarding this. I generally do not touch topics like these with a 10 foot pole, due to how high the tensions rise. It's sad we are at such a point where this is how things generally are, but it is to be expected these days. This is a no win situation for anyone. She didn't even get to play the game and yet was harassed anyway, and now the legions of fans who loved her content and did not really care that much about LGTQ now have a very good reason to not take their side. I just wish people wound understand that hate will only beget hate. Tolerance and acceptance is forged through love and understanding and unity...not this...

into an early retiring?
I honestly couldn't care less.

There's no demonstrable evidence this is a trans community and not just some sundry nutcases, or even bad actors pretending to be trans to cause strife.

And furthermore, so what? Drama in vain streamers life is par for the course in most cases. Don't get involved and don't try to pick sides when you cannot have all the info.

I seriously doubt that.

Tehthing to remember is that what is PORTRAYED as a community online is nothing like.

You have no way of knowing that those people are presentative of such a community and you don't even have anyway of knowing they even ARE trans.

They simply could be bad actors and so on.

You should never ever make assumptions and paint things with a broad brush like that.

For example, I work at music festivals, helping out disabled people. As my major festival is Glastonbury which is world famous for how weird and wonderful it is, you get all sorts of people there. They have a massive gay disco area too.

I've spoken to tons of trans, gay and otherwise alternative lifestyle people and the funny thing is they aren't anything like the ♥♥♥♥ you see online.

It's almost like it paints the wrong picture isn't it?

And again that is an assertion.

Where's your evidence this thread is representative of the trans community in any way?
