Work 5 days at 8 hours or 4 days at 10 hours?
Imagine you were contracted to work 40 hours per week, would you prefer working 5 days in an 8 hour shift or 4 days on a 10 hour shift?

What kind of work are we talking here

4 days 10 hours for me, I prefer a day off over less workhours per days and two more hours per workday don't change much things.

42 hours a week for EVERYONE.

Depends on the work. If it's work I stay consistently busy with 4 days. Work like I do now 5 days. It gets way to slow at work on some days.

Best job I ever had in terms of working hours was 12 hour shifts 3 days on, 3 days off. So out of the two I'd say go for 4 x 10.

Doesn't matter. A work would be welcome though, so I won't spend 10h+ daily in front of PC playing games.

How about 80 hour work weeks at 40 hour pay.

Not working at all always worked out.

Depends on the job OP. I prefer working with no days off, so longer weeks and fewer hours I guess.

4 Days, 10 Hour Shifts. Assuming you use 1 Gallon of gas per trip to and from work that saves about $150. Then I can have an excuse to spend $15 a month on Steam. Plus any places mandate a UNPAID 30 minute break and if you say that is at least $5 the you have an additional $250. If you work at a restaurant or a place that pays for your food or gas then that might not count though....?

the 4/10 one. Considering a normal 8 hour workday (if you can even get that these days as many people are stuck with less than 5) still basically wastes the whole day anyway, I'd rather just put in the time and get 3 days off per week.

Life would be a lot nicer and a bit more balanced.

The latter.

10 h in a day? Lol 8 h is alredy too much

10 h is just insane...

In 8 h you just cant be efficient in all of these hours, having 10 h would be more waste of time

Do you rly think you can deal with 10 h per day?
