I hope nobody hahaha.

I need to watch it. Why did they cancel it?

Not enough people watched it.

Most viewers that remembered the original though it strayed to far from the theme like all remakes do... so it was mostly newer viewers that just didn't keep watching it.. "...crafting compelling new mythos..." bla... bla... bla...

Their algorithm and company policy that shows NEED to be "Binge-Watched" within a certain time by a certain amount of people to be deemed "popular enough". :steamfacepalm:

I think it actually had something to do with that movie Cuties, I remember people saying they canceled this because of the massive subscriber loss after the backlash form Cuties and because this was a very expensive show to make naturally it got cut first.

I think the cuties thing happened way before Dark Crystal, and Netflix was already doing this cancelation thing before even that to the point it is a joke for people that still use Netflix.

Netflix has, basically, a "Self-Fulfilling Cancellation Prophecy". People are so used to Nexflix canceling shows that they often wait till a "season 2" is announced before even watching the first season, or they know it could take 2-3 years for another season to come out and only watch an episode or two at a time, which Netflix sees as a show not being "binge-worthy" enough...

Basically setting up nearly every show for failure unless it ends up being some sudden cultural phenomenon like "Stranger Things" or "Wednesday".

Then they raise their prices while canceling all the good shows and whine about how they can't figure out why so many people are leaving. :SafeForWork:

Never liked that movie.
Whaaaaaaaaa?!

There is something that feels off about it, style, characters, everything. Feels uncomfortable and heavy.
