Cutting beef.
I'm here to inform you that you shouldn't cut beef with a fruit knife.
It doesn't cut well at all and is very dangerous.

Always use the appropriate tools for the job.

Nope, steak knives are meant to cut already prepared meats.

I should've used the butcher knife, but I didn't wanted to get another knife dirty. :/

A steak knife set also has knives for cutting raw meat. Maybe not a meat cleaver though (I assumed you weren't butchering a cow).
Steak knives[cdn.shopify.com] are not good for cutting raw meat, especially if they are serrated. A chef's knife would be a better bet.
Jokes on you!

I use a chainsaw!

Or rip the beef directly from the living cow with my bare teeth!

wtf is a fruit knife?
In Australia, the paring knife is called a fruit knife. Because what else would you use such a rinky dink knife for? Help a bogan out, get your mates a nice 22cm chef's knife.
I use a cleaver or a Japanese knife. However generally the beef are already cut at the butchers.

There's probably a lot of beef on the barbeques here today; it's Australia Day (public holiday).
I'm curious about all your opinions regarding the best gear to cut the cheese.
I cut my beef with a katana.

A paring knife?

Depends on the cut. It’s pretty useful for carving around large bones.
A carving knife is best for cutting meat, carving around bones. Paring knives arent designed for that.

I got a set of 5 Wusthof knives. They are expensive, but will last forever and dont need to be sharpened that often, just honed.

Its one of the best purchases Ive ever made.
♥♥♥♥ you, I'm gonna use a vegetable knife and no one can stop me!
i cut everything with a steak knife because its good at cutting and if it breaks they are pretty cheap

reminder also to cut meat against the grain not with it.

imagine a bundle of garden hoses. If you cut them length wise the bundle breaks but the hoses remain intact. Doing it across they stay but become more flimsy.
Maybe you need a chef's knife? Like the second one in this picture [static.wixstatic.com]. It's what I use and it's sharp enough to cut you if you accidentally move your finger across it.
This is for the weebs wanting to cut food with a Japanese sword:
