amazon prime tv sucks ass
where am i supposed to watch these shows if only amazon has them but wait, theres a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ catch, amazon has sub channels that also require a paid subscription, but its amazon prime, thats already exclusive, why make another exclusive channel.. ALREADY IN A EXCLUSIVE CHANNEL? that makes no sense. most shows are free, same for amazon but at the same time, not all of them and thats ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. theses shows are pretty old too. so give me a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ break.
doesnt amazon make enough money anyway? the browsing sucks too, its balls slow/delayed. comcast and netflix is faster. and its comcast all over again too with tv/movie station names that sound really foreign to me.

so since amazon lies about its service with more paid content. how else or where else can i watch these shows that isnt locked behind a paywall?

The Unexplained

Forged in Fire

Channel Zero

The Dome

Castle Rock

plus finding a good show to watch, the website sucks too. wana sell something? tough ♥♥♥♥, the selling page is on another website, so does steam with steam support. lame. not only does that make it harder to sell a thing but they can close your seller account after no activity. thats ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
they cant do that.

That's because Amazon doesn't make or own any of that stuff. Rather, it's partnered with paid cable networks like Starz and Showtime to stream their stuff. Hulu has similar arrangements.

Hey I cant get HBO in Canada because it's part of crave TV and Bell Media website wouldn't except my postal code with the - in the meddle and without and upper and lower case letters all rejected

I wanted to watch House of the Dragon on HBO but because of Bell Media's picky bugged website I can't, I think Bell Media did it on purpose so you'll go back to using a set top box and TV set with them with 1000 duplicate channels with nothing but garbage tv, been using internet channels for 3 years now, and only have a digital antenna on my old '40 inch TV on the floor collecting dust from no usage

All streaming services suck

I pay for their 2day shipping. The rest of the stuff that is included with Prime subscription are just extras.

As for getting a subscription to watch movies/shows, no thanks, I am not interested.

Yep. This exactly.
It's extremely dishonest to complain about Amazon over that at all.
Weird.

Why is it dishonest when that is how they represent themselves? They are the ones being dishonest and putting themselves in the firing line for blame.

Huh? What are you saying here?
Amazon isn't doing anything wrong here.
They don't own the video channels.
The companies get paid to watch their videos like a subscription service for a TV set up.

why would you ever think this is a bad thing, or worth a complaint?
Amazon literally makes it obvious it's completely optional and because of the companies themselves.
I'm so confused.

No one can ever claim it's dishonest to do what they do. They DON'T HIDE anything.

THat is not what it happening here.
Why are you claiming that it is?
I am specifically explaining how it works.

THere's no crap going on.
There's no arranging it poorly.

Have you even paid attention to the store page for the stuff that needs subscriptions?
Why complain about a subscription that spells out you need it to watch the video?

I don't understand.
None of this makes any sense.
It's the most clear thing on the internet. IT literally spells everything out for you.
Amazon isn't sticking their name on anything.
That doesn't even begin to make sense here.

They literally don't own those videos.
AT all.
Ever.

That's why you need a subscription.

No, it's not dishonest at all, it's still a ♥♥♥♥ excuse. We pay Amazon to see their library, we don't pay them to halfway through find out some of that library is locked behind another paywall, not to mention how underhanded it is to even reveal that after you've payed the subscription. Whatever the specifics of the many licensing agreements they have are, they have nothing to do with me. It be like you saying it's entirely fine to have a separate section of a grocery store you have to pay monthly for, because those farming corporations have a slightly different supply contract. It's ♥♥♥♥ in cable packages it's ♥♥♥♥♥ here.

Don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ use it then

psst, people can still voice their disappointment and critisize a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ service while not using it.
They want people to "accidentally" click on paid-for movies and subscriptions and such so they just lump them all in with the "included with prime" crap as well.

There used to be a setting to display prime stuff before anything else, but again people accidentally clicking on things that cost money, is straight out of mobile gaming to get that sweet, sweet "OOPS" money. :SafeForWork:

Also, there are plenty of ways to watch shows... They just can't be talked about here. Something about wearing a tricorn hat, getting a boat, and sailing the high seas while singing catchy sea shanties.
