Windows is Spyware!
Even with spyware removed:

https://www.techspot.com/news/97535-windows-11-spyware-machine-out-users-control.html

Friendly reminder that Windows is still spyware, even collecting data when debloated. Its newest version, Windows 11 being the greatest offender.

But just sticking to Windows 10 won't keep your data safe. Microsoft started embracing data-mining in the late Windows 7 life-cycle.

If you want to use an up-to-date operating system that puts you in control of your machine, Windows certainly isn't a good option.

Blue pill or red pill. Your choice.

Imagine not being spied in 2023. You can stop using Windows, Google or whatever, but you'll be spied.

They put little spy robots in the water.

oh no! anyway...
And this is why people skip "Every-Other-Windows" release.

It seems that since windows was a thing, every-other release has been absolute garbage... At this point windows 11 is just keeping up the trend/curse.

windows 95 was good, windows ME was horrid, xp was amazing, Vista was garbage, 7 was good, 8 was trash, 10 is decent, 11 is already the worst one yet, 12 will likely be good

I am sure you will remain in control of the machine.

I am thinking of using eye-tracking cameras.
Think of the possibilities there are with spying software and artificial intelligence. Ever thought of the potential that games have which track where you look, and alter the gameplay according to that data?

It could be fun.

But in all seriousness, companies not making their devices class compliant is an issue for the entire field.
Microsoft encouraging proprietary drivers instead of generic ones, by just doing the bare minimum when it comes to class drivers, isn't helping either. For instance, PlayStation controllers run out-of-the-box on Linux (since they are class compliant devices), but on Windows, you need third-party software.
What are standards good for when some people, especially the most powerful ones, ignore them? It is tech tyranny.
Fr, I could consider daily driving Linux if I actually had a GUI to control my GPU settings

i wish Linux is good for gaming we are forced to use Windows

Everyone collects data now. Your smartphone, $on¥, Greedtendo etc …

If you buy Sony’s games here on steam, before you play you have to give full or limited access to them to ‘collect data’ on your device. But no one ever talks about that. Instead it’s always google, microsoft etc ….

If you rely on an operating system from microsoft you should be aware that they may collect data like pretty much every big company does or use Linux instead.

You forgot Win 98.

It's the "Gen X" of windows... Most people forgot it because they kept using 95 before jumping to xp.
