And with pharmaceutical and medical companies being the TOP lobbyists, only rivaled by big money banks and investment firms, that hedge their bets and buy out BOTH political parties in the U.S... It doesn't seem likely any time soon.

Other countries have Universal Healthcare. American megacorps are sadistic and cruel. And US health care system is inefficient and dysfunctional and actually costs the tax payer more, if wasting tax payer money was your main concern.

Unfortunately, there isn't anything that will be done about it if people keep voting for the same two evil, broken, corrupt, establishment parties.

When the government was given the power to vote on its own pay raises and make its own laws without the people's vote, we lost the ability to do anything without a massive grass-roots movement of people working together. And with the tribalism pushed by mainstream media, the likelihood of the different "sides" agreeing on anything went out the window years ago.

To me he represents the worst of mankind... he makes people prostrate themselves for money and broadcasts that for others entertainment.

And gets hailed a hero for it.

That's why when the shops ask to "donate $1" to such and such charity at the checkout I decline, because it's a tax rort. I donate to charity, but I won't do it this way because it's a massive tax dodge.

I don't like Mr. Beast and his videos, especially when he destroys stuff that is in perfectly working condition just for the views. I know, it's scripted reality, still dislike him for that.
This time however, he didn't destroyed but restored something and people lost their minds because he made money spending money on stranger's eye surgeries.

The world has gone absolutely mad.

Yes, people should have surgeries like these covered under a basic healthcare programme to have the chance at being fully-productive parts of society again, instead of putting themselves in debt, beg or go public about their illness - or having to die.
But since a decent healthcare system doesn't exist in many parts of the world, some bloke making a video about helping them out is the next best thing. This video was not only helping a bunch of people and their families, but also raising awareness for this issue.

Hating on someone for being in the business of making people's life suck less is just mentally deficient.

I think most of the hate directed towards Mr. Beast is coming from selfish people, out of envy at him living his life to the fullest whilst helping people, instead of the actual circumstances.

Other countries also have terrible universal healthcare, especially Canada.
American Healthcare is far from perfect, but it's still better then universal.
The problem lies in corps inflating prices. I don't mind paying for my healthcare, but their price gouging needs to be taken under control.

Now I may not be sure about any God, but I certainly wouldn't go around calling myself something Anti-God.

Even if this is some act to be the false prophet, I think it severely lacks in taste.

If that is his act I will just consider him the Pied Piper of Hell since it seems what he wants as his persona.
