What role does chocolate play in your life?
The only time chocolate has been a big part of my life was when I worked as a Patrol Officer. I used to get ♥♥♥♥ on every working day. At the end of the day I'd regularly buy a bar of 90% Lindt Dark Chocolate, and it was bliss. I think I had quite low cholesterol at the time as well, so the fat gave me a boost when running.

When I see chocolate in others I dont know what to think so tell me why.

I don't like chocolate [anything] so it doesn't really have a role in my life. It hates me and I hate it. We're comfortable with that relationship.

I want to bathe in it.

Don't know why

Chocolate contains a poision known as theobromine, which while our digestive system is able to safely digest due it being very small in the treat. However, if fed to an animal such as a dog or cat, it can be fatal due to their digestive systems metabolizing it more slowly than normal.

tl;dr version - Chocolate is sweet liquid death

In my life it's a sort of candy.

I do like chocolate, but, I find it waaay, too sweet for me. That's why I tend to stay away from chocolate.

Dark chocolate 90% is actually pretty good for you. Lowers free radicals, blood pressure, improves skin, etc. Loaded with some antioxidants and minerals.

However, an entire bar per day is extreme. If having it on a daily basis, it should be only 1-2 square pieces. Moderation. If you have an addiction, then perhaps avoid regularly eating it.

I don't have it much, but yeah enjoy it sometimes.

Ahh yeah, theobromine is more toxic to dogs (or pets), compared to humans thou... Cocoa beans contain about 1.2% theobromine by weight, so chocolate can be safely consumed by humans.

Dogs (300 LD50) vs Human (1000 LD50) and that's against body weight. Dogs will weigh less in most cases.

LD50 = lethal dose, 50% (lower the value, the more toxicity and less amount required to kill)

Occasional treat or snack when hungry. Not a big fan of junk food in general so doesn't have any significant role.

Love it but I don't eat anything with sugar anymore. There's sugarless chocolate but I bet it tastes like crap.

My favorite food. It should be a food group all its own, lol.
white chocolate best chocolate

I occasionally eat chocolate. I don't hate it, though it's not my favorite sweet. If I want something sweet I usually just go eat a fruit or drink some juice.

lol

I don't like it much, eat it occasionally. I prefer white chocolate. Toblerone for example. I like bounty too. I'd rather have ice cream tbh.
Yeah, my preference is white chocolate > milk chocolate > dark chocolate.

Dark chocolate is too bitter.

Chocolate with fruit filling is nice though.
