Why does nobody play vanilla Minecraft?

Title says it all. I love good ol' vanilla minecraft survival where some people are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and will grief and kill but some people are really cool and will trade resources and have a community for everyone to survive. Seems when I make vanilla servers nobody joins even if I advertise I was thinking about making a vanilla steam group too to spread love of vanilla and get some more servers/players up,

This. I mostly played on historical role playing servers with plugins to make the game more interesting. Really like the ships and cannons plugins.

Vanilla Minecraft is boring. It's the same thing every time: Get iron, get diamond, go to the Nether, get Blaze Powder, kill Endermen and then find The End and a lot of that is luck-based.

Steam is pathetic these days. Instead of answering a question people have to get off-topic and ♥♥♥♥♥ and moan. I sure was born in the wrong generation i can't wait to see how pathetic the world is when my generation becomes adults.

First of all, this is the OFF TOPIC forum section. Second, we weren't even off topic, you asked why nobody played Vanilla Minecraft, and we all said it's because Vanilla Minecraft is boring.

If I play Vanilla Minecraft, it is on a local server with my wife and son.

If I play on other people's servers, I want a diffrent experiance and vanilla just doesn't work.

Only mod I use is the death chest one, since we all hate lossing our items.
