Why Unreal Engine Is So Heavy?
Almost every games I played that's using UE are lag as hell, even though at the lowest settings with usually 800x600 res, anybody knows why?
I mean I've tried different games that's using different engines, I can run normally even at medium settings with 1080x720 res.

So it has nothing to do with the game engine?

It has little to do with the engine. The engine just gives a developer the base to work with. The developer determines how the game runs and what the system requirements are.

The space a game takes up is not determined by the engine either. Most of that tends to be textures and models that the developer made and the engine referrs to when rendering the game.

What games? What are your system specs?
The Unreal engine is GPU heavy, so having a good/decent GPU is normally enough to run a game.
Umm, this are my system specs: http://i.imgur.com/XOFMWUW.png
No wonder UE is very heavy for me.
And I thought I had a potato

No offense, but you might want to consider saving up money, and getting a new PC as soon as possible. Your computer is extremely weak.

It was one of the most powerful 10 years ago, now it's one of the least.
Time flew so fast...
