Who's looking forward to it, who's not, and why?

(Finally a game where I can drive on my side of the road and not have to avoid oncoming traffic!....And it's on PC for once!)

Well if your computer is above the minimum requirements, you can at least run it.
Not very well, i suppose but...
You should upgrade, though. It benefits for other games you wanna play.

Then again, the online bit is not that important. I play these games mostly solo.

You can see eight? I barely even saw a NPC car.
I'm halfjoking. But I honestly did not see more than one player on the map, and he was too far away for me to reach him before he disconnected, if i remember right.

For the time being, most games support windows 7, just like many games still support XP and vista, but to get 'the most' out of it, win 10 is needed...
Yeah, you should throw in a 6700k, at least 16 GB ram and a 1070 or 1080.
1060 doesn't function with dx12, I've heard.

Don't listen to this guy all you need is a 1080 or a 1070 and you are set for the next 6 years of gaming. If you know how to use Task manager/ms config no need for useless upgrades.

It did say an i5 was minimum specs, and I don't know what kind of i5 he has.
If it's a weaker one than the 4460, it might bottleneck a 1070 / 1080.
Btw, you know 'set for next 6 years of gaming' is BS, buddy. (if he want to play the new, big games that comes later)

Are they stupid? I'm not going to buy It unless the game becomes available on steam, I'm 19 and I dont have a freaking credit card, but guess what? I'm not going to ask my parents to use their. Even if I had a credit card, I would not buy it anyway.

Games that are Xbox and Win10 exclusive won't be on Steam because Microsoft tries to make their own "shop" and compare to Steam... so yeah... no forza for you :P

That's how they did it with battlefield 3 - they started with a BIG game that forced people to switch over to use it, if they wanted to play at all.
Though this time they're being 'nice' with xbox one being put in the mix...

Seems unlikely.

You can get it through the Xbox App if you've got Win 10 and then add it to your Steam Library manually. The Xbox app is already part of 10, so it's not like you need another DRM to worry about - the game launches from the start menu like any other app.

Although I have to warn you, if you're looking to buy, check your GPU. It's absolutely brutal on low-end systems. Even my 970 is struggling a little to keep up 60 FPS.

The game looks like it was made in 2007-08 and yet performs like crap. Pointless DX12 used only to get people to upgrade to win10 lol how typical M$.

anyone had problems with the game download being stuck or just gets reset randomly. I had the download being stuck and also reset randomly sometimes with an error message. Currently im downloading it again, i unistalled the game so i have a fresh copy of the game so no errors come up. Before the game went up to 28Gb and reset it self with no error message. anyway i was able to play the game before but since the dlc update the whole game decided it wanted to download again. I hope this all makes sense.
