Can you reduce the size of World of Warships?
I know this is a topic that has been covered before, but I would like a current reply. Compared to other games, WoWs isn't a huge game in any way, but I don't have a lot of space.

Thanks for replying.

Why don't you uninstall other games or buy more hardware?

No you can't.

Not that I am aware of OP. As someone else said, may need to do some deleting or get another hdd.

Nowadays, games only have one installation package, and that's it. There is no "minimum" install where everything comes from the CD vs. "full install" where nothing is loaded from the CD.

For some games, "4K"-textures might be an optional package, but that's about it.

WoWS is constantly updating and adding more lines of ships though.

No you can’t make the game smaller... however their is a decent mega sale going on right now (if you live in Australia), might be able to nab up a half tb ssd for 120ish $

If you are running it through Steam, it does download additional files that you don't get when using the main WG client. I believe there are folders that can be safely deleted to reduce the size on the disc but will not list them until I get confirmation from someone who actually works for WG as I wouldn't want to bork your install if I get it wrong.

I think it was waid that Steam WoWs keeps two versions of the game in its main folder and it's theoretically safe to delete the older one...
But, like Donegali said above, you'd probably want confirmation before doing any deletions...
