Mass Effect Andromeda
OMG so many bugs. I started playing mass effect games now. Never liked them before. But, the lack of good games lately made me give it a chance and I love it. Especially 2 and 3. But, Andromeda is a mess. I'm I the only one encountering this bugs and problems loading some levels? Not only that but, why the hell would they start using frostbyte engine. It sucks for that kind of gameplay. Characters aren't interesting, story is boring. Only thing I like about andromeda is the big worlds. But the detail they use to give to characters in past mass effect is much higher

I loved the Mass Effect trilogy (despite the weak ending in the third game), but I couldn't get through Andromeda at all. After reaching the first planet, I noped out of it.

I mostly remember how the serie got worse with every new game, and the first one was just about playable for me. With Mass Effect 2 I got the "Morrowind to Oblivion less armor parts" downgrade feeling but with skills etc.

I mostly remember the downgrade they made with having a dialog wheel in Mass Effect, I knew it was going to start going downwards after that. Add voice dialogs and the R in RPG was almost a faint memory.

In short, it's always about scale and it feels like we ALWAYS get worse games as time goes on, with features that is. :(

Ugh id say im probably one of the bigger ME nerds youd come across and MEA was just crap. Gameplay it isnt terrible and some what semi enjoyable story wise absolutr crap that destroys the whole point of a ME game.
I never played this but there was a show called Andromeda that I used to watch all the time.
I played Andromeda a fair bit, I don't remember at which point I lost interest, but maybe at the point when you have to revisit one of the first planets you went to (or maybe I was just freely exploring and went back to it for some reason, I don't know)

The gameplay was nice, and it reminded me of the first Mass Effect game, I prefer ME1's and Andromeda's free exploration to be honest (even if planets in ME1 had less interesting planets than No Man's Sky) than the linear ME2 and ME3 locations where you can only freely explore a few small hub areas and not much else. The story wasn't all that interesting though, and I already forgot all of the characters in Andromeda.
The original trilogy is amazing... IF you use the proper PC MODS for it. Like texture mods, shorter loading screen mods, story consistency mod, Expanded Galaxy Mod, cut content restored mods, and the mass effect happy ending or better ending mod.

If you play it in it's EA format, yeah it is a massive disappointment at the end.

Now... Andromeda... Yeah... Fun gameplay with the driving and shooting, but the story writing, dialog options, animations, textures, voice acting, and pretty much everything else is absolutely horrid and killed the entire franchise.

Only had one major bug it was with a boss that wouldn't trigger properly and it took a few times to beat it.

I kind of liked Andromeda then again I am into Elex and Technomancer and they aren't the most polished of the ARPG genre.

If anyone else had of made this game except Bioware I think the reception would not have been as bad.
Terrible story and characters, they also had a racist on their team at Bioware.

He was name and forever internet shamed and fired so ahappy ending. You can buy MEA pre-owned and have that cake and eat without supporting the developer financially if you don't want to.

Man I love my cake.

I will play Red Dead Redemption 2 at native 4K on my Xbox One X Quantum Dot LED monitor.

Bioware haven't been great for about ten years or so now.
If you wanted to get into Mass Effect, you should've started with Mass Effect 2. Mass Effect 1 does have story info you kinda need to know, but it's not great gameplay wise compared to the sequel IMO. You could also get the DLC Comic thing for ME2 and choose story related stuff there so you still get the changes and decisions from the first game.

Mass Effect 1 built the story up

Mass Effect 2 perfected everything

Mass Effect 3 was really great until the ending Except for Marauder Shields

Mass Effect Andromeda, probably would've worked if it wasn't a Mass Effect Game. It tried to break away from the past 3 games and go it's own route, which I can understand, given the massive amount of stuff they'd have to code in for every little change your Character did in the past, but they just fell kinda flat on the story IMO.

Gameplay of Andromeda was fairly standard, Open-World Mass Effect with collectables and crafting like Dragon Age Inquisition, only with guns instead of magic and swords. You also had the Rover thing to travel around in.

Andromeda was just, kinda Bland I guess. I only liked about 2-3 of the characters in it, whereas in ME1-3 I liked basically everyone in some way.

Yes I am aware of Biowares slow down hill decline, but MEA was a straight off the cliff sought of deal. This is a big hot mess compared to the last game.
