Do those qualify, or are they considered as the modern ones?
Either way, it doesn't really matter.
Children nowadays prefer action, fast paced ones over deep stories, and it shows on their behavior. Hasty, impulsive, constantly up to something silly.. Some do, in fact, never learn.
.. I guess.
I watched tons of old cartoons.
They looked even better back then.
Hand drawn animation was labor intensive, but it produced wonderful results.

The offshoot Space Ghost Coast to Coast is awesome too

He-Man, TMNT... I used to fight with my little sister because My Little Pony came on at the same time as the Super Mario Bros. Super Show. We were supposed to take turns but what kid can remember all the way back to yesterday?
Darkwing Duck, Duck Tales, Gummybears, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Muppet Babies, Beetlejuice, Inspector Gadget, Garfield and Friends, Thundercats, Pirates of Darkwater, Chip n' Dale Rescue Rangers. I can hear every one of those theme songs just typing their names out.
Further into the 90s I was getting to be an older kid but Nickelodeon was on a lot. Aaa! Real Monsters, Rocko's Modern Life, Hey Arnold!, Rugrats.
In high school I was more about more "adult" cartoons. Beavis and Butthead, South Park, and Clerks the animated series in the latter half of high school. I started spending a lot less time in front of the TV and a lot more time in front of the computer. I think I was just tired of fighting with my sisters for the remote. When I had a chance I also enjoyed ZDTV, later TechTV at this time in my life.
I've never known, My Little Pony was divided into generations, to be honest.. I've thought, it was always all the same, but with slightly different animations, graphics updates, and stories to tell.
I can't say, I have liked it that much..
That's because they actually cared about their work.. unlike today's cartoons, movies, t.v. shows
Agree...
Don't know why this snarky attitude of arrogance and ignorance has become so popular these days, it really has to go. It is beyond obnoxious. So many readily assume they're a step ahead, when they're several steps behind. This interferes with learning and "reality testing".
Kids these days, trying to act like they're above that or that that kind of humor went out of style... smh.
