In Gears of War 4 can you rank up against bots in Private Match?

Back in Gears 3 and Judgement you could rank up in private games vs bots. I was wondering if the same can happen in Gears 4 . (Btw you cant in Lan Matches)

The bots have personality types, Fergusson says, and so assume roles in the team. Some are aggressive, some hold back and go for the sniper. Some use cover smartly.
