More to be clear, I don't kiss cats exactly. I'm sure I do what many people do - nose boop, kiss on top of the head, head bump and so on. Rub cheeks etc.

Or at least I try to when my little fur bastard doesn't smash me a little over zelously in the face and cause my lip to bleed.

I never gotten sick from touching, nose rubbing or kissing my cats.

If your cats are indoor you will be safe. Whatever they touch you do touch as well.

If the cats are outdoor, then it does pay to be more careful when handling them.

you know that human saliva is more dangerous than the one of any other mammal? Your kiss is way more dangerous for the cat than the cat kiss is for you

I have Doctor DoLittle syndrome where random cats and dogs would follow me. Dog would jump and lick me but Cats would always rub against me but they also do a nose bump to my face. I never knew why though.
