"It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grammes a week."

Chocolate rations were 30 grams a week.


Why did I brought this quote up? Because cnn is celebrating how families are saving $35 a month in gas prices.

2yrs ago, gas was $3/gal. It's $6-7/gal now. How the hell is that a savings of $35!?

Its dropped in the midwest to 3.97 as we speak, should be 3.17 next month, dont know where you are tho.

Yeah gotta love a propagandist government and media.

You have the government wanting to redefine what a "recession is" to try and make themselves look better because we are now in a recession.

The same government in power that bragged about wanting to "end oil" and then shut down pipelines and ended oil drilling leases causing the cost of literally everything that needs gas/diesel to be made/shipped go up in price causing massive inflation.

And the media supporting their political bias by trying to tell us that the current price of gas has gone down 35cents while it is still $4+ more than it was a year or two ago.

This is how brainwashing and propaganda work.
