I think I'm going to stop watching Marvel

So I watched Dr Strange Multiverse of Madness but wasn't expecting to find wokeness
boy I was wrong, complete cliche
I am very sure that I won't ever watch further MCU movies

However, I must tell you that the comics have also gone quite political. It's no longer about superheroes going against the villains, but about drama, very forced love stories that end in more drama, all the ladies suffering needlessly (lord forbid we can have a good female character who doesn't have an emotionally destroying backstory), and villains who get the "Steven Universe" treatment even if they're on "screen" for a chapter or two.

I'm sticking to DC for now. At least I know the character in my pfp doesn't have enough drama to stop being a hero character.

HUH? Makes no sense. Literally nothing he said was real or had anything to do with the movie he's talking about. AT ALL.

Also, DC has done a lot of WOKE stuff if we're goign to go and claim Marvel is magically the only Woke place.

THey literally killed off the entire Justice League and everyone ever just about just so Superman's bisexual son can have his moment in the spotlight.

every child was an analog to the cast of the 1st movie:
ray = podcast boy
egon = science girl
venkman = wolfhard
winston = waitress girl

key master and gate keeper showed up, just like in 1st movie.
gozer showed up just like in 1st movie
funny obese ghost showed up just like in 1st movie

it was as though the producers saw how Ghostbusters (2016) fared with the crowds and decided to do a nostalgia trap to tie up the franchise.

Afterlife was predictable, shallow, and boring.

Calm down. I've seen Marvel's comic going downhill like what I said, and DC may have killed many heroes, but at least they still do superhero stuff with some characters, unlike Marvel, which has treated pretty much everyone with the "Political real life" hammer.
Heck, I have a lot of favourite characters in Marvel, and not even them could keep me in the Marvel world. After seeing what they did to Nightcrawler I just packed my stuff and left.

I'm still against the modern comics for both companies, but DC is winning me over as I discover characters I can get behind their stories.

If Marvel decides to step away from the drama a notch, and go back to superhero stories and universe adventures, I won't hesitate to go back.

I just can't stand Marvel's ~or~ D.C.'s drama and corruption... I'm going 100% Independent / Manga.

"Woke" in current day is essentially radicalized equity, the demand for such to be codified, and the elimination of dissent from its orthodoxy. It is not pro-equality, definitely not anti-authoritarian, and is much closer to the mentality of the Nazi party than its participants will ever admit.
