Gordon Ramsay
Why does he sounds like a normal human being in his British shows but on the USA ones he sounds pissed off?

I think he hates USA

The magic of editing

Angry men appeal to the west more since it's more relatable

Presumably because the British shows are older, where he would only get shouty when there were serious issues in the kitchen, but over the years he has essentially become a one-trick pony - or maybe the shows are edited to remove all but the shouty bits for the same reason.

Because US needs drama. The UK versions from his shows have him talk normally.
He doesn't even enjoy shouting or being the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ he is portrayed as, it's just what they wanted him to be for the drama and ratings
I really like Gordon. I have no idea why.

This is just how British and American TV differ in general.

What gets ratings and makes money on the UK may be informative programs about business and/or cooking, but what gets ratings and makes money on this side of the pond is

IT'S LIKE A BISON'S PENIS!!!
IT'S ROAR! YOU CAN'T SERVE ROAR CHICKEN! YOU'LL KILL SOMEBODY!!!

His whole 'raging scot' shtick falls flat when he laughs off kids dumping cream on his head with nary but a "sugar!" or two.

hey, kids. This is why people use mixers or nitrous oxide charges. Whisking by hand will get you arthritis before you're 30.

Although that was filmed in 2013. The kids might be old enough to vote by now.

Ratings. It's all fake bs.

if you ever worked in a pro kitchen, you would sort of understand.

they are not as bad as hell's kitchen makes it out to be, but i was crying after my first week and wanted to quit. ♥♥♥♥ gets real

hell's kitchen is made to find a head chef that can handle a 40 person kitchen, so he puts them though some extreme stuff to see how they handle it. plus it is tv, and the drama sells

then there is kitchen nightmares, and those are just rough. he yells at all of em on that one, both sides of the ocean
I mean the jump edits and staging here in the states appeal to us, I guess.

I watched a lot of his British shows. He gets plenty pissed, especially on Hell's Kitchen.

I don't follow any of his antics/shows.

An article I read stated that his behavior is ramped up and encouraged to go extremes for American television. Apparently, we like people being jerks on TV.

What he does is just normal behavior in European kitchens (i was a cook for 7 years)
