I was just commenting on Holo specifically doing this type of thing, as he has done it before, and it's kinda dumb no matter what the quality of the show is.

Also they must not have paid that one guy (he definitely seems paid.) enough money considering they got 9 instead of 10 lol.

It needs to be belieable, can´t have only 10/10

There actually is some 6/10 and 7/10 now, that is writing, like they are giving the show 3-5/10 but they have found out, that anything under 6 is removed or gets on hold for ages.


I am thinking about making a new Show for a billion.
It needs to be called. CGI madness.. the entire show will just be CGI.. just massive awesome shots of beautiful CGI landscapes, characters, etc.

I was immediately drawn in! I loved the beginning sequence and the world built is truly beautifully immersive! I can't wait to see what more comes from this exciting new fantasy series!

They did a great job filming and integrating various species and backstories to set the stage for this, and I am sure it will be a fan favorite in no time.

The music, the screenplay, the cinematography, the direction, the costume design, the editing all done very well. Much better than game of thrones by far. Personally, the characters of the show were detestable and respulsive. Most of the shows are terribly made in a smililar way. This is not one of them. The ambience, the intrigue draws you in. The landscape and scenery is beautiful. I have stopped watching shows because they are poorly made. I think the fact that a billion dollar was spent on this show, actually shows when you watch. I could go on and on. But that is sufficient for the novice and the expert.

So far so good. Is it a little bit empty with some interesting casting choices? Yes. But are the characters interesting, with strong archetypal undertones and potential for plot growth, yes -- I think something that is going underappreciated here by a lot of viewers is the fact that I can watch this show with children; it has a lot more Mandalorian vibes than GoT, and I welcome this. We have noble characters, some strong lines, absolutely beautiful landscapes and CGI, and a younger audience can engage with this very meaningfully.

People sure like the CGI

I said that days ago... "looks great"... less filling.

Don't listen to the negative reviews. Some people have an idea of what something should be in their own mind. I too have read mostly all of Tolkien's books. You form a world in your mind from those words. It's yours it's personal. This show is Magnificent. It's a big bold dive into Middle Earth. Beautifully filmed and acted. The first too episodes are structured in a way to set a scene for the multiple storylines for multiple characters which as the series progresses will merge in to one common fight against the darkness. It's absolutely fantastic and if you don't watch it because of someone's snobby 1/10 then you will be missing out.

It is without much substance and starts off by attacking other people´s opinion.

In my opinion, this is also review bombing.. (I think that is fine, it is just what peope think, let people speak their mind and let other people read the reviews that actually have proper information)

You can be dead certain, that nobody will ever delete "good" reviews for trolling, not even when they don´t own the sites (like Amazon do with IMDB)

I know the show sucks, but at least they have leftists defending everything it does, it seems like there is no point in deleting reviews when you will inevitably have a politically motivated group of fans to defend it anyways.

They would've been better off just letting it blow over and people would forget about it, but deleting poor reviews will tarnish Amazon and RoP's reputation for a long time. Clearly Amazon has very little for-sight or strategy skills, which you would think a corporation would have inherently due to needing to make money and thus plan for the future, because if they did, i would think they would be thinking more long-term, and deleting reviews is clearly not thinking about the long-term since it will certainly harm them a good deal, and not just the show either.

Now, for most people, it won't even matter if they manage to get their ♥♥♥♥ together and make a halfway decent show (which i highly doubt they would anyways but i will give them the benefit of the doubt on that) because they've already tarnished their reputation in a pretty massive way.

Sadly.. most reviews are like that.
No matter if its for a game, show or a new dishwasher.


People seldom make a proper review, where they detail enough about the product, they also don´t showcase what bias they have and that they know it.
I try too (I am not perfect either) to showcase, if I am biased towards something and what might make people buy it and not.. so there is a proper source of information.

But the vast majority of reviews are oneliners or empty subjective talk.

But you know, instead of a studio being based on actually making good films or TV shows, this one is based on sunk cost fallacy.
