Yeash. It's hard to believe a fake blob of code is inconveniently causing brownouts and putting people at risk.
People have been trying to raise awareness about the sagging power grid for decades. The worn out powerline hooks from around where the Califonia wildfires started have become a good illustration of that. https://data.nbcstations.com/national/KNTV/seanmyers/pge_hooks_grid/assets/still-1.jpg
The infrastructure is in such a sorry state that a complete, nationwide refurbish costing trillions is becoming more and more urgent every year. Aside from blockchain computations, the extra load from the spread of electric cars and air conditioner use as climate change-driven summers get more brutal is only adding to the strain.
Though there are legitimate non-greenwashing efforts to optimize and streamline the paradigm.

How much energy goes to the export market when it's needed at home?
There will be an increased burden on electricity infrastructure with the shift to EVs yet foreign owned companies don't want to put in the investment.
These foreign companies also hold residential customers to ransom if their isn't enough local supply because they want the local price to skyrocket above caps, so brace yourselves for load shedding, cold winters, and botched firmware updates if your neighbourhood is marked to be the next in the cue for load shedding (unless you have a UPS).
His commentary will probably spark more sell offs.
If BTC goes below 20kUSD and Etherium 1k USD it's beyond bloodbath territory. Too many people have "leveraged" their investments with real money that they'll have to pay back with interest.

Back on the PS2 it played PS1 and PS2 games. They had squeezed almost all functions of the PS1 onto one chip and done it cheaply which was nice.
On the PS3, ithe early ones played all three iterations. the later ones PS1 and 3 but not 2.
Now as far as the PS4 goes they dropped that for favour of their streaming business, ahving bought Gaikai and sold ports.
So yes they absolutely do support backwards compatibility.
Personally it's not somethign I bothered with as I always keep everything.
Crypto should be ended
Given that we don't know who the inventor of Bitcoin is apart from the fake name Satoshi, any number of unsavoury goons could be behind this rotten scam.
