PS2 fat or slim

Just wondering, is one of them more reliable or less prone to bad stuff or something.

Slim is like smaller. Make sure The PS2 slim is backwards compatible, PS1 games and accessories such as the component cable everything ok..But I believe the original Fat PS2 is better for other purpouses such as hacking, and things of that nature. The slim has this lid you can open and close. Its really convientient. I dont like the fat one. Slim has like less problems. slimline PS2 is better than the older versions. It is quieter, smaller, sleeker, more reliable, and easier to mod. Also, it has a built-in network adapter. Yeah, slimline PS2 is much better.

If you shake it like a dumb*ss, (like i did once), you might rip the controller port cable secure-thingy apart and you're done for.
There are two(or more) slim version and at least one of them have an internet port, which the fat one does not. Though ps2 internet is absolutely useless today.
Depending on version, one fat version has usb ports, and the other does not - if i remember correctly. I think my brother's PS2 didn't have usb ports.
So buy the slim version. ... if you can even find them anywhere today.
The spc-90004 should be the best one.

I have a fat ps2 that was thrown out a window. Still works perfectly. Well the disk tray doesn't open from time to time but its fine otherwise. I love the noise personally.

I didn't throw it out. Some other guy had a fit in his home and threw out a bunch of stuff including a ps1 GameCube original Xbox and a ps2. Only the ps1 and xbox didn't survive. When my dad found those in the bin after the cleanup he gave them to me. I greatly enjoy classics since 2012 like Mafia. every ps2 released gta game. Spiderman 2. Both matrix games. Sonic gems collection. I wish i had more GameCube games.

I prefer the Fat PS2. Because it has a PATA port in the back, you can use PATA hard drives to load up...things...

I avoided drifting like the plague in every underground game. Because i couldn't figure it out.
