Google Stadia is shutting down

Just like in the title, they are shutting it down after like 3 years of functioning. Everyone that bought Stadia or games on there will be refunded

"Google is shutting down Stadia, its cloud gaming service. The service will remain live for players until January 18th, 2023. Google will be refunding all Stadia hardware purchased through the Google Store as well as all the games and add-on content purchased from the Stadia store"

"Refunds will automatically be made through the Google and Stadia stores, and you won’t have to return any hardware. Stadia Pro subscriptions will not be eligible for a refund, but you will not be charged during the shutdown period and can access games you might have redeemed as a Pro user until everything is wound down. Google has closed the Stadia store, so you can’t buy games or in-game transactions."

a lot's of peoples don't have an Internet good enough or just live too far away from google own servers for them to be able to reliably play on it.

I've tried stadia a few time , sometime it was fine and playable , sometime the picture was blurry and sometime there was too much input delay/lag.

Meanwhile, Logitech is about to release a new streaming device that costs not much less than a base model Steam Deck and is really not much more than a budget smartphone in the shape of a handheld.
I just don't get cloud gaming, and apparently, I'm not alone.
