Normally today, I just watch gameplay videos instead of watching reviews. If I do seek out a review I focus on written reviews on niche sites that focus on the genre in question, like wargaming, strategy games, sim games etc.
"Worth a Buy" is OK on a good day, but sometimes he's too crude and close-minded for my taste. For mainstream games AngryJoe is OK.
As long as you stay away from the (biased) mainstream (PCgamer, GiantBomb, IGN etc.) you're on a good path.
TotalBiscuit passed away in 2018.
Ben Croshaw, aka that guy who brilliantly points out modern open world games are bad because they share certain mechanics, while ignoring that platformers, driving games, JRPGs, hack and slash games, strategy games, and adventure games have been churning out indistinguishable clones for four decades.
Yeah, he's an obnoxious snob.
Never liked that guy.
Best reviewer is Dunkey.
TotalBiscuit was the most comprehensive and focused PC gamer on there and he's sorely missed.
Angry Joe and a few others do offer PC content but not to the degree he did.
Frankly at this stage the best answer might swell be to just spread it around a bit and not focus on one but ANY of the major palyers who also do PC content.
♥♥♥♥. He had some issues that he went to the doctor about and turned out to be cancer. He was trested but sadly, they never got on top of it completely.
None... those who review PC games shouldn't...
