Roxette pop group????????? That is almost criminal to state. alright alright... maybe a tiny bit.. but I just don´t want to accept that..

I miss the 90´s. I had a lot of fun with Anna-Lisa Fredriksson (That is Roxette aka Marie Fredriksson) Sister.

So I have talked with both, albeit most Anna.

They were pretty good live tbh (and I mostly listen to Metal/Classic) but there is just something about scandinavian folk pop, it is good during summer with friends.

Eurgh. I'd forgotten about Ace of Base.

God they were absolutely dreadful. I remember certain DJs taking the piss out of how lazy their recordings were, and I felt so vindcated as I'd been saying the same about them.

Sounds better frankly.

God I truly hated them. In a world full of pap and gimmicky songs even they took it too far.

Not even spelling bass correectly was a bit of a giveaway I think.

I did love Roxette but yes, sad. I remember there was a concert and Marie had to have constant medical supervision throughout which was understandable.

The Cardigans and yes I will dare say Ace of Base did well in the music industry.

I found it really quite sad for poor old Marie.

She was clearly one hell of a worker and was committed to working and performing all through all of this. It's truly cruel to have a brain tumour, then get it treated only for it to come back later.
