"Gaming has changed. It's no longer about players, unlocks, or enjoyment. It's an endless series of proxy battles fought by corporations and players. Gaming - and its false promise of finished games - has become a profit machine. Gaming has changed. DLC packs, Players buy un-finished games, use online transactions. energy drinks inside their bodies enhance and regulate their abilities. micro transactions control. useless DLC bundle control, player control. Gaming control. Everything is half assed and kept under control. Gaming... has changed."
Let Kojima guide us. :praisesun:
They cost money but are far more interesting than the free MS games.
1. Unfinished games always existed
2. DLCs and expansion packs are nothing new either
3. Microtransactions arent new either
4. Lmao when was gaming not all about making profits (this is biggest nonsense)
5. Gaming corps always existed
Yeah, sure gaming has changed but so does people lmao
People nowadays want more and more in less and less time than before (basically everyone has become less patient) and people (especialy non casual gamers) have grown up and become more strict with what the want and also producing a game nowadays is way more expensive than a decade and 2 decades ago since everyone wants amazing graphics and all type of details and much more
So all that copy paste is just some misinformed individual living on nostalgia
Why? Your feelings or thoughts don't matter to anyone else. We can enjoy our games without you just fine.
A lot of what you said is relative to how old you are. If you were not around when gaming was 90% console with no internet connectivity (So no game updates), making releasing a finished product a lot more important otherwise there's lawsuits incoming... Then yes, I can see the argument "Unfinished games have always existed".
There's other stuff in there that is age relative, but that's just one thing.
