I get a People of Walmart vibe from adults in onesies.

Wal-Mart pretty much determines fashion for the everyman/woman.

Meh, the ebbs 'n flow of what is considered fashionable changes considerably over time.

Combination or union suits[en.m.wikipedia.org] used to be quite commonly worn by adults during the 19th and 20th centurries. I supose they are perhaps not quite exactly the same as a onesie, buut whatever the difference may be, they seem close enough to a onesie to me, that this should not come as all to surprising to pretty much anybody. They even have a button up flap in the back called a one seat to make going to the bathroom easier. It seems like some of the people in this thread would be interested in having a flannel union suit for use as pajamas. That's not even to mention that people wear jumpsuits and leotards too.

I suppose a rose by any other name doesn't smell just as sweet to some people though.

Not only does it ebb and flow but it often goes to extremes.

One look at fashion during the 1960s to the 2000s shows this.

In the 60s and 70s, we had pschdelive rock, hippies, and glam rock and so on. THe flared jeans were the thing. Some pretty bloody large and wild flares. Then punk happened in the 1970s where the undercurrent decided to rebel against everything including fashion. Post punk and into the 1980s it meant no tonly that flares were out but the tightest skinniest jeans were in.

They were a pure bastard. Putting them on was sometimes a bit of an exercise, but if you had a motorbike and had to wear leggings under them (British weather and all that), then imagine what that was like.

Then as that faded out in the later 80s the 50s revival happened where Levis were pushing Nick Kamen and the 501s. Back to baggier jeans. Or at tleast the most "normal" time.

Then late 80s acid house and rave happned, along with indie dance like the Happy Mondays and the Stone Roses.

And again the undercurrent decided to go with flares again.

Well look on the bright side.

My comment may well be worthless but at least I'm not Jake Paul.
