Huh. Haven't thought about Napster in a VEEEERRRRY long time. Back when they did that Limp Biskit tour taunting Metallica. It was them, Cypris Hill, and a Metallica cover band called Hairtalica.

Only went because it was free. Never used it for music though. If it's important enough for me to want it, then it is worth it for me to buy it.

Use bandcamp then, spotify and itunes are trash.
Yeah the bootom line is this.

People tend to ask this because of convenience. Spotify is rather a norm now, a standard for easy access to music streaming. So it's no different to asking a dev to make their game available on Steam.

But anyone who wants quality to their music, I wouldn't use Spotify in a million years. It can be great if you want to demo or showcase stuff I guess, but thei royalties are absolute garbage - one of the worst in the whole industry (and an industry that is ♥♥♥♥ too).

I would simply bung your demo on Youtube so it can be listened to, and then allow a FLAC file to be purchased via another method for those that want the quality.
