Anyone else replaying games instead of starting new ones?
For whatever reason, despite having a ton of games I haven't even started that I want to play, in the past month I've just been replaying games I've already finished. I have a huge backlog and instead of trimming it down, I've just been playing games I've already beaten multiple times instead.

Hell I planned on starting Hades over the weekend, and instead I ended up playing New Vegas again.

Been replaying Kenshi. Last time I played it was 2 years ago.

Not really "replaying", more "keep playing despite all". I find it a bit hard to get into new games these days even though I have a huge backlog as well. I'm a coward person sticking to comfort zones even if those bore or annoy the crap out of me. So whenever I attempt to play new games there is no guarantee I will stick to them for long. And I keep telling me to play more singleplayer, yet there is always this call of the multiplayer.

That's a series I replay way too often lmao

If you're looking for similar games, Salt and Sanctuary, Code Vein, and Blasphemous are the best Soulslikes I've played that aren't from Fromsoft themselves.

I'm very much the opposite, used to find it hard to get into new games now I play new stuff all the time

I've been revisiting some. There's nothing "new" I want to play atm and I'm tired of the player experience in most "Early Access" projects.

Playing KeeperRL and troubleshooting Kenshi and some old Kenshi saves I want to visit, atm.

I will probably play X4 sometime soon and revisit a console game or two.

Sort of. Got fed up with God of War and really felt like playing Nier: Automata again.

Finally finished it and got all the achievements, now I'm gonna try to finish Nier: Replicant.

Kind of.

I'm replaying the original Half-Life via Black Mesa

I recently purchased the remastered Crysis trilogy during EGS sale. I only played and finished the first Crysis when originally released.

I also bought Red Dead Redemption 2 during Steam sale. I started RDR2 on console long ago but never finished.

I might get God of War for PC when it goes on sale. I have it for PS4 but haven't played yet. Too much backlog lol.

steam delihma

people buy ♥♥♥♥ ton of games on sales then never play them or buy a bundle. Same with gifts. If steam ever made an exchange rate ♥♥♥♥ would hit the fan and there would be like 10000000000000000000000000000000000000 $1 games bought in one day to trade for higher value ones.

I don't have a huge backlog of games to play, only a couple which I haven't gotten around to yet.

But yes, I replay my old favourite games endlessly - partly because there hasn't been a new game which really caught my eye for a long time, all the new games nowadays don't interest me much. But also because they are classics which really struck a cord with me, and they tend to be sandbox games where I can make my own fun anyways (since that's my fav type of game) so they have plenty of lifespan if you have enough imagination.

Sometimes I just don`t have the energy to learn the new game.
